2024, The Craziest Fantasy Football Season EVER!!! (1 Viewer)

Utter carnage this past week on one of my two teams...

Adams
Rice
Taylor
Patterson
Taysom
Badie

Middle four in that group were in my starting lineup. Then had another injury scare at one point with Shakir in the night game! Never experienced anything like this in a single week.

This has easily been the worst fantasy year for league-wide injuries to stars that I can remember in two plus decades of playing this game. This team had been reasonably insulated until now (Kenny Walker only), but the reaper has come with a vengeance. 2024 has been insane between this attrition, and underperformance among so many of the players that have stayed healthy. Bat-**** crazy out there!!

Feel free to comiserate with your worst-hit teams. I know some of you out there have it as bad, if not worse.

Couple of factors at play here imo….

1) The lack of training camps and practices.

2) Players using their helmets as a weapon more than ever.

3) Humans just keep getting bigger, faster, and stronger.

I honestly believe there’d be less injuries if players stopped wearing helmets.

Adams isn't hurt, the Raiders are putting him in bubble wrap while the negotiate a trade.

I think historically fantasy football relevant injuries are way lower than typical this year.
