2025 Buffalo Bills (1 Viewer)

It really pisses me off seeing where KCs RT lined up against the Bills versus where he lined up in the Super Bowl. I strongly suspect KC was read the riot act about this aggregious uncalled penalty.

He also didn’t do the “legal rocking” thing as much in the Super Bowl, although there is debate on whether this is a penalty, seems like it isn’t but it looks like it is.

Having to line up legally, KC was completely unable to stop Phillys pass rush.

Outside of that, it is also very frustrating that yet again KC had their BEST offensive showing in the playoffs against Buffalo. I don’t know if they are just in McDermotts head or what but he is incapable of stopping them in the playoffs.

I heard Sal talking about them moving to more man next year, maybe that will shake things up.

Gregory Rousseau 4/80.

That kinda seems like a steal to me. That's less than a lot of guys he's better than (Burns, Sweat, Hunter, Gary) and he's younger than all of them.

I would have guessed over 100 for 4 years.

Lack of consistency. He has lots of tools and can dominate at times, but is a non-factor a whole lot too. I’m meh on this deal. He needs to make more big plays for this to be worth it IMO.

I’m not sure which of those guys he is better than. Gary gets double and triple teamed. I watch every Pack game, and a lot of Bills games — don’t recall seeing Rosseau take over many games.

I'd have it: Rousseau>>Hunter>>Gary>>Sweat>>Burns.

Are we talking Danielle Hunter?

Because if you're looking at sacks, that guy is in another league than Rousseau. Granted, he's 30, but his career has been much better. He still was nuts last year. Dude is a monster. Burns is also better than Rousseau, IMO, and I think the numbers back that up, too.

Burns loses a lot for me, by being an absolute liability in the run game. One of the worst moves any team has made in the last 5 years, is Carolina not trading Burns to the Rams when 2 1sts were on the table.

Pressures>Sacks in my opinion, and Hunter is the only one of those guys beating Rousseau of that group. Perhaps I'm dinging Hunter too much due to being 5-6 years older than Rousseau, but one is on the rise, and one isn't to me. I do really like Hunter though.

My overall point was that Rousseau being a not yet 25 year old getting a contract of 20/year feels like a very team friendly deal. I have no doubt he'd have gotten 5/10 more per year on the open market.

Bills sign Joey Bosa for 1 year $12.6M

I don’t know. Just feels like adding another Von Miller. 29 year old that hasn’t played a ton the last 3 years with lots of injuries. Seems like a shell of his former self. I guess you gotta roll the dice and the money isn’t terrible, but seems like more of a name than a player IMO.

Von's probably a lot better. Miller was still a really good player, he just wasn't available enough. Bosa is better than looked in 2024, but has similar issues with probably less upside.

Don't hate the flier though, he could/should be better than giving Epenesa more snaps.

Elam traded. What a bust.

Maybe a change of scenery will be good for him. Surprised the Bills were able to get as much as they did.
The worst part about it for me is that the chiefs traded up in front of us and got one of the best corners in the league while we got a bum who actually cost us games including the AFC championship game against the chiefs.

How crazy is it that the Bills and Chiefs have so much history both on the field AND in the draft? Mahomes draft, Elam/McDuffie draft, Worthy/Coleman draft...

What are we thinking for the 1st round?
Trade up/trade down?
Offense/defense?
Any specific players or position you hope we target?

For me, I think we go defense. Stay put and take best DL or DB. I’d prefer DB. Someone line Emmanwori or Ben Morrison.

Random question, while we kill time before the draft...

Anyone have any preferences on a home opener?

Ravens
Bengals
Chiefs
Dolphins
Pats
Saints
Jets
Eagles
Buccs

As much as I'd like a cupcake like we've kind of had for 2+ years now, I think I'd like to go right back at KC, and hopefully it'll be week 1.

-I love it! Think Beane was well within his right to tear the radio hosts a new one

-Thought the Bills Draft was pretty close to an "A"
I thought Hairston from KY at 30 was a little high but he was in a bucket of DBs I had going in the 2nd round, Bills decide the DT/DL class is deeper which it was, they wait and then pounce
Sanders and Jackson are going to be a nightmare. Landon Jackson looks like he fell off a Sci-Fi movie set as the outlaw android terrorizing everyone

You have Allen so you always have offense, why not load up on Defense and simply keep the opposition to under 20?
Pretty simple and I think they succeeded and they did what I wanted Miami to do and that was DB and then chop away at DT and later take a couple OL
Instead Grier decided to trade 48, 98 and 135 for an IOL Savineaa or however he spells it and takes him at 36 or 37, same spot and same thing he did when he took Liam Eichenberg

Great job, pretty sure you will be ruling the East for a couple more season until the Patriots can get their **** together with Vrabel

-1 more thing, wouldn't Keon Coleman investors look at the lack of WRs drafted as a small endorsement that things will look better in '25?
I'm just talking FF here, not sure if he has the right skills for the NFL just yet but I thought he showed some flashes.
Were you all surprised at all that the Bills did not take a WR at some point to compete?
I took it as they feel Coleman will take that next step in Season 2

I think they would have liked to pick up a speed wide receiver, but they clearly valued CB and DT higher, as well as those 2 specific picks in 1 and 2. It might have been an interesting choice if somebody like Golden made it back to them, but otherwise it was going to be defense for the first 2 picks.

Then after that, every time it was their turn, they either had a guy they really liked, like Landon Jackson or probably Deone Walker, and then at other picks there just weren't any WR they felt high on. If you are looking for somebody to play this year, even if only on special teams (which I think they were focusing on) then the guys they picked have a better chance of getting on the field than any WR available later in the draft.

But we've had several years of giving up lots of points in a playoff game, even against a Chiefs team that didn't break 30 all year until they saw us. So shoring up the D had to be a priority, and luckily for us, this year the talent seemed to be greater on that side of the ball.

I find it interesting that there’s a talented rookie wr out there waiting to be signed with Bond. I haven’t read into anything in the accusations and no clue if they are true or not. But if he can clear his name I wouldn’t mind the Bills trying him out.
I feel after the Arazia (spelling?) situation they aren’t bringing on anymore players with questions like that.

Deon Cain is a bad man in the 1980s 1990s way.
He's a very fun WR if they let him hit and get hit.
He doesn't do ordinary well

RIP Art Wander

"His daughter, Kelley Clem, said Wander was discussing New York Mets baseball with her just the night before his passing. He died with a Buffalo Bills blanket on his bed, a Mets banner nearby, and Frank Sinatra’s "My Way" playing on his Alexa, which she says he affectionately called "Alaska.""

(News to me just now. Was on vacation.)

I really want the Tre experiment to work out, but a starting secondary of Benford / Tre / Rapp / Bishop is terrifying. Benford is a lockdown #1 CB. Rapp is serviceable if not stellar. The other two scare the **** out of me. I can see teams throwing the ball at Tre/Bishop all game every game.

I know we haven't started the season yet, but I got good news for Bills Mafia: They'll win 13 games this year, get the bye in the playoffs, finally beat the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game (which will be in Buffalo) and then go on to beat the Eagles in the Super Bowl.

I like the way you think.

I don't know how he did in camp, but I'm pretty sure Keon Coleman is going to have a breakout year. Don't be surprised if he makes All-Pro. And I'll go on record and state that he is going to be the primary weapon for Josh Allen, and that's going to also help them beat Philly in the Super Bowl.

Whoa. So you're saying the Bills are NOT going to lose to the Chiefs in the playoffs again?

Not only that, but I'm also saying the Bills will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Josh Allen is going through the same thing with Patrick Mahomes that Peyton Manning went through with Tom Brady in his career. Think of how many times Peyton lost to Brady before 2006. This is the year that Josh Allen becomes the modern-day version of Peyton Manning.

So….every five Tik-toks instead of every five TV commercials?

I didn't want to be the get off my lawn guy, but at first glance I didn't like them at all. Now thsy I've seen this video I still don't like them. I really like the advertisement of them though. Thr theme is cool. Just don't like the uniforms. Needs at least a sliver of color.
The fact that is is SO lacking in color is why I like them. So different. And the little color that there is is blue, which goes with the icy/frozen theme. I kinda wish the logos on the shoulders weren't 3D. A flat shiny crystal type of pattern would look better, I think.

That said, I was already planning on going to the Bengals and Eagles games. I would have to imagine one of those is where they'll break these out. I will almost certainly buy one for that game.

I'm getting so pumped for this game. Can't wait to get back to WNY tomorrow night.

Shakir
Coleman
Kincaid

Calling all Bills fans. How do you see the season faring for these three. They are understaffed in many of my leagues and getting the ball from one of the best.

I guess the fear is that the glory is spread around too much. But something has to give and one of these guys has to produce.

You should add Palmer to the list. But I don't have any way to rank them - any given week one of those four could be the target leader. It might shake out more as the season goes on, or it might be a truly random sequence depending on the matchup.

1 down, 12 more to go. I said 13 wins would be enough to get home field advantage and it looks like they're on their way to accomplishing that. The defense has got to do better against the run. They're lucky the got the win even though Derrick Henry had 150+ rushing yards. Of course, his fumble was the turning point in the game. I just wish Maxwell Hairston would've been available tonight. But, even still, the Bills win, and they've got the Jets next week at MetLife.
