To some degree I hear ya.I fully respect and admire attempts to rank offensive lines. Admittedly though, I take these positional rankings with as much of a grain of salt as anything. Unless you're in the trenches as a coach or player, it's nearly impossible to tell how effective an OL will be or will gel - even if it's chock full of Pro Bowlers.

Does Miami's GM not realize how injury prone Tua is?

If you're reading this Matt, just noting a typo - the Packers and Vikings players are transposed.
Thanks so much for noticing the typos. Ugh. User error, fat fingers. I have given the editors a new version and this should be fixed today.@mattbitonti
Personally I include Offensive Line rankings on my cheat sheet to help with coin toss decisions on certain players....most notably RB's.
Having said that, the second of the three sections in this article are identical for Rushing and Passing.
Is there any plan to correct this error?
TIA!
If you don't know the play call or the scheme, its got to be very difficult to judge performance over the course of a game just from film. It might be obvious on some plays that an OL did a poor job or did well, but in many cases he can look bad because someone else messed up.
Always weird different for me and I like it that way.
Titans from about last to 12th is shocking.
If Moore pans out and the young guys play up to their potential it's very possible. Latham and Skoronski are consistently singled out by OL gurus as doing things well for certain snaps but they've gotta stack games.
I know you said week 1 rankings so The Buccaneers don’t have Wirfs, but 29th? They were a top 3 offense in 2024 and ran the snot out of the ball.
Where are they once they get him back in a couple weeks?
They keep reloading keep investing and I love moves that allow a player to go back to their natural positionShocked that the Saints' offensive line is ranked in the Top 10. Most of our fans think the O-line is a glaring weakness.
This summer Cam had all day some snaps. It was shocking. It's been a long long time since a QB had time in TEN. It looks like you're dead on here.Always weird different for me and I like it that way.

Let me also add that I don't look at other sources so I don't know what is weird. I look at Brandon Thorn for individual grades but I purposely avoid PFF and other OL team rankings because I do not want to taint the well with their opinions.
The model is what it is, it has been more or less the same for 13 years. Sometimes it shocks me too like seeing the Jets above average. for the Titans I like Dan Moore more than most he is a better player than people realize, Skoronski is a stud and Callahan (legendary 5 star OL coach) is whipping this thing into shape. Any team that pays their OL coach over a million dollars it shouldn't be surprising that team gets better in the rankings. Yes I grade the coaches too like a half a starter.
After additions to our secondary, OL is officially Miami's weakest position.Does Miami's GM not realize how injury prone Tua is?![]()
