Good Morning Shark Pool!

Some exciting news as we are going to start building our 2025 NFL Rookie Draft ADP (Average Draft Position) and we want your help! Every Monday, I will post a call to action for the day to participate in our 2025 Shark Pool Monday Rookie Mock Draft for that evening at at 7:00 PM/ET. For the first couple weeks, we are going to operate the drafts off a Google Sheet. On these days, your call to action will be to reply to the "reply if you'd like to participate in tonight's Rookie Mock Draft" message. Once we have twelve participants, I will assign you draft order, direct message you the link to the Google Sheet, and you can just input your pick into the Google Sheet starting at 7:00 PM/ET.

Once Sleeper imports the incoming rookies (usually this happens by the Super Bowl), we will just post mock draft links you can join on a first come-first serve basis.

We are looking forward to building our Shark Pool Rookie ADP with you this offseason! Keep an eye out for today's call to action... it could come at any moment!

Wow. Sounds very cool. Would love to join when I'm up to passable knowledge about all the guys. Right now, that's not the case.

I'm only writing so you guys know you have interest. I'll actually get on studying it today or tomorrow and will have some opinions next week. This is really cool.

Can you provide some context on the Hunter ADP. If he gets drafted as a CB/WR designation, I don't see how he has first round value.

Hey everyone! If you would like to join today's Shark Pool Monday Rookie Mock Draft, please do so at the link below. Today will be another one round mock, however this week it will be on Sleeper and will be SuperFlex. Thanks! Hope to see you guys in there!

Here are last night's SuperFlex Rookie Only Mock Draft Results:

1. Ashton Jeanty - RB - Boise State

2. Tetairoa McMillan - WR - Arizona

3. Cam Ward - QB - Miami

4. TreVeyon Henderson - RB - Ohio State

5. Shedeur Sanders - QB - Colorado

6. Omarion Hampton - RB - UNC

7. Luther Burden III - WR - Missouri

8. Emeka Egbuka - WR - Ohio State

9. Travis Hunter - WR - Colorado

10. Kaleb Johnson - RB - Iowa

11. Tyler Warren - TE - Penn State

12. Colston Loveland - TE - Michigan

I took Hunter at #9 if he is a full time WR. If he is drafted to play CB, that pick would have been either Johnson or Judkins. I think both would be great choices that late in the first round.

Is this TE Premium scoring (1.5 PPR)?
Just wondering if that’s boosting TE value to put 2 in the top 12, or if they’re just that good compared to other skill posit players (I have no opinions on this rookie class yet. Just curious)

Not TE premium. I would think Judkins would be picked ahead of one of those TEs.

Without a doubt.

I didn't get to draft, but that's okay. I got to watch. No Superflex, PPR (even though it said half-PPR), linear draft, assuming no TE Prem. This is how it went:

1) Ashton Jeanty
2) Tetairoa McMillan
3) Travis Hunter
4) Omarion Hampton
5) Luther Burden
6) TreVeyon Henderson
7) Emeka Egbuka
8) Kaleb Johnson
9) Quinshon Judkins
10) Tyler Warren
11) Cam Ward
12) Isaiah Bond
13) Shadeur Sanders
14) Colston Loveland
15) Ollie Gordon
16) Matthew Golden
17) Devin Neal
18) Dylan Sampson
19) Tre Harris
20) Harold Fannin
21) Tez Johnson
22) Elic Ayomanor
23) Jordan James
24) Savion Williams

I like this draft. I was a little surprised that Savion Williams was drafted this high, but maybe this is just the start of a third tier of WRs. I also see Jordan James as the start of a third tier at RB. Fannin at #20 (TE3) had seemed to be certainty until the recent Senior Bowl.

Ward and Sanders both going that high in non-SF seems wild to me, but what do I know lol... Late first is where TLaw was going in non-SF his rookie year. I guess some people could be so low on other skill positions it pushes the QBs up for them? I still view QB as the lowest position in this draft skill wise myself though.

Also, I think if some combination of Hampton, Johnson, Henderson, Judkins go to any combination of Bears, Broncos, Cowboys, Chargers in the 2nd/3rd rounds; I could easily see the first 5 picks of rookie drafts all being RBs. And that's downplaying some of the growing hype around Gordon, Neal, Sampson, and Skattebo. And also ignoring that the Vikings, Raiders, and Commanders are all potential great RB landing spots.

IOW, I not only think this could be one of the best RB classes since 2017 because of the talent, but probably even more so because of the sheer number of excellent landing spots on solid offensive teams with some really good coaches where a lot of touches will be immediately available. No offense to Tet, Hunter, Burden, etc. but I'll take a starting RB for Harbaugh or Ben Johnson over them in a heartbeat, pretty much regardless of who it is so long as they have the draft capital and are one of the roughly top 10 talent guys in this class. And I think we have the potential to have multiples of these RB/landing spot combos in this draft.

As much as I pray rookie mocks in a few months look like the ones I keep seeing right now, I'd bet just about anything the amount of RBs in the first two rounds of dynasty drafts nearly doubles in addition to rising in avg. ADP.

1000%

once these 2nd tier RBs (Hampton thru Judkins) land on actual teams, they will dominate the top half of rookie drafts. Gotta throw darts at rookie RBs since this position recycles so quickly these days. (unless there are sure fire WRs to draft, of course).

Yup, and even though I'm one of the seemingly few that think this is actually a pretty good WR class, I do think it's more a very large swath of WR2s and 3s without any super elite talent. So pairing one of the 8 RBs I like after Jeanty with a good landing spot put's all 8 of them ahead of any WR in the class for me (except maybe Egbuka, currently my WR darling I think could be a WR1 in several landing spots). I can see people make the argument for Hunter too if he/his team commit to him being a WR, but otherwise that's where I'm currently at. If people can walk away from this draft with 4-5 RBs I think they could be set for the next 5-6 seasons at the position, which doesn't happen often.

Man re-reading this post lets me know I'm now firmly entrenched in draft season rookie hype mode :ROFLMAO:

Oh my, it was at 4 PST. You guys are on EST. That's embarrassing I bricked, as are "my" picks embarrassing. I would have taken Judkins and then Devin Neal. Sorry about that. Just subtract me from the equation. Those players at 1.8 and 2.8 weren't going top twenty-four anyway.

Here is the link to our FIRST Three Round Mock Draft of the offseason! This will be One Quarterback - Half PPR! @Clayton Gray has done a great job with his ADP tracking and weekly article. Thanks for all your help! Mock kicks off at 7 PM/ET tonight!
