Going to have #1 waiver pick since my team blows. Thinking of going after a D. Need a win badly.
Both PHI and GB on the wire.
GB at home against a Mac Jones less NE team looks juicy. PHI definitely looks strong although the JAX offense looks promising.
Yeah, I rode Chiefs yesterday and got 13 points, which was decent. Have the NYG as well and hope they do well tonight (outside of letting Pollard scoreChiefs got me 20 this week but not liking them against TB with Evans and Julio back. Even if TB hasn't looked that great.
Not much out there this week. I do have Denver on the WW. Against the Raiders. Probably my best bet for points. NYG vs Chi also a decent play depending on how they look tonight.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Bills CB Christian Benford suffered a fractured hand Week 3 against the Dolphins.
Benford's injury wasn't enough to pull him from Sunday's game, but he appeared only on special teams after exiting with the injury. A rookie sixth-round draft pick, Benford has started all three games for the Bills this season. Already down Tre'Davious White (knee) and Micah Hyde, Buffalo's secondary is noticeably thin. It's not yet known how long Benford will be out.

Picked up the Browns to start over the Broncos.Dropped Broncos for the Chargers. ****** genius over here. Next 4 games for Packers look good and they are on my wire.

Chose Chargers instead of Philly.
My 0-3 team wouldn’t have it any other way.
Can’t fathom rostering Chargers going forward even though their schedule looks good.
I am dropping Charger ASAP- can never trust them after yesterday's performance. Didn't make any plays.Chose Chargers instead of Philly.

Shocked by the LAC's putrid D yesterday. After watching them against KC, thought they were a legit season hold. Nope.
Can Bosa mean that much to that D? Also have a feeling that they just came out super flat thinking they'd roll over JAX.
Looking at Jags too -- you are keeping the Chiefs?Jags are one to watch. Not for this coming week against Philly but they look like a good defense in general. I think they might slow Philly down more than others have but I wouldn't play them with that hunch.
However, they get Hou, @Ind, NYG, Den, LV after that. 4 home games out of 5. Those aren't exactly world beaters and have very sackable QBs. I'm planning on grabbing them for free after waivers if I can find a spot on the bench.

No dropping for Denver if I can this week. If I can't get Denver though I might keep them. Brady hasn't looked good at all.Looking at Jags too -- you are keeping the Chiefs?Jags are one to watch. I had the same exact thought. It's hard for people to think that the Jags may actually be good. I'm gonna stash them and see what happens.Jags are one to watch. Definitely for the next 4 games. That being said, Defenses can disappoint.Y’all like GB for the ROS? They and the Rams were dropped in one of my leagues.
Bengals DT D.J. Reader (knee) could be out for "an extended period of time."
Reader left Week 3's game against the Jets with the knee injury, and NFL Network's MIke Garafolo notes that they could be without Reader for a "month-plus." It's a big blow for Cincinnati's run defense, which will have to use more Josh Tupou and Zachary Carter inside. The Bengals draw the Dolphins on TNF, so Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert get a slight upgrade this week.

I thought I had it all planned out with the Broncos and Chargers the first 6 weeks. This plan has backfired horribly. On paper that schedule looks good but you just never know when it comes to Defenses. I just can't be getting anymore zeros.I have the Broncos and the Chargers. Denver has gotten me points every week. The Chargers have looked awful two weeks in a row. And... I am dropping the Broncos for the Jags.
The next six weeks with this stack gives:
Week 4: Hou
Week 5: Hou
Week 6: Den/Ind
Week 7: Sea/NYG
Week 8: Den
Week 9: Atl
Week 10: SF (assuming they don't right the ship)
After that, things don't look so rosy. But that is a pretty nice run. I would say that Denver has played limited offenses thus far but that seems destined to change. Meanwhile, I am praying that the Chargers get their "dawg" back. I looked briefly but not seen any news of long-term injuries for the Chargers and Bosa in particular. Have I missed something there that should cause me to temper my hope of them starting to resemble a good defense against limited offenses?
FWIW, Dennis Allen sounded optimistic about Jameis' availability.FWIW: in my 3 main Leagues:
League 1: dropped NO, added DAL (PHI also available, but opted for DAL)
League 2: dropped CLE, added PIT for the matchup with NYJ
League 3: Drafted DEN & have been rolling with them thus far, but cut for MIN
Which leads me to my next thought; MIN is the sleeper D of the week. I know Jameis is a "gunslinger" but it looks like NO is gonna start the Red Rocket this week due to Jameis' injury. That offense could look even worse than it has been and MIN is stant to reap the benefits.

If I can't get GB or NYG, I may hold on Cleveland for one more week. Don't love them overall, and Atlanta probably isn't as good a match-up as we thought heading into the season, but not much else out there. But would love to grab Jax going forward
I agree Cinci could be a sneaky good start. Dolphins seem primed for a major letdown game playing on the road Thu after a big win that left half the roster suffering from heat exhaustion.Snagged Jax -- gonna see how NYG works out this week but also somewhat tempted to grab Bengals per @Chaka recommendation ---If you have the roster spot, this is the week to pick them up. Jags look like a good defense RoS. Not sure what to expect in Phili but after shutting out Indy and holding the Chargers to 10 points you have to think they could pull an upset in Phili this Sunday.Snagged Jax -- gonna see how NYG works out this week but also somewhat tempted to grab Bengals per @Chaka recommendation ---If you have the roster spot, this is the week to pick them up. If you have a better option this week (and can afford to carry two DSTs), I'd stash them. You might have posted this in the wrong thread, but happy for you anyway (both getting out of Florida and being able to go to the game). However, I think we can all agree there will be nothing "defensive" about that game.Pretty pumped --just landed in Baltimore for a family visit ....somehow plane got out of West Palm this AM!--and headed to Ravens -Bills on Sunday![]()
Ah. Now I see that that Bosa is, in fact, on IR. Like you, I have the same LAC/DEN stack and thought it was a good play. Seeing Denver's upcoming schedule, I am not convinced that they will continue to produce at the same rate they have as to now (acceptable with my league's scoring) and Jacksonville seems like a candidate for one of the yearly "surprise" defenses. But seeing that Bosa is out for at least 4 weeks on top of how poor the defense has played even with him has me reconsidering my plan to drop Denver instead of LAC. Waivers run in a few hours, so I've got to make a decision now.I thought I had it all planned out with the Broncos and Chargers the first 6 weeks. This plan has backfired horribly. Bosa has a "significant groin injury". He is week to week and may be put on IR. He will miss this weeks game for sure. The Charger defense is dead to me.

I was thinking of getting gb too. They were dropped in my league. Prioritizing eagles but will take Green Bay for this weeks matchup as a consolation. Also have bucs and don’t want to start them vs kc.A couple dilemmas this week:
League A (12-team)
Have been riding SF all year, and they've been decent. Neutral matchup this week vs LAR, then a couple plus matchups (@Car/@Atl) followed by KC and Rams again. Both Philly and Jax are available on the WW. I don't want to drop SF, so I think I'll double up and take Philly. Only possible complication is that in Week 7, Eagles are on bye and SF faces KC, but that's not the nightmare match-up it used to be.
League B (14-team)
Picked up GB for the dream matchup vs NE. Could keep them for the next few weeks as well (Giants/Jets/Wash). Thinking of grabbing Jax now to stash.
League C (12-team)
Picked up Pitt this week vs NYJ, but I'm not totally convinced that they're all that great a D, nor that Jets are such a dream matchup (though if Wilson is back, that could open up opportunities for more sacks/TOs). Meanwhile, TB was dropped last week and is out there. Not an ideal matchup vs KC, but again, this isn't the 2018 Chiefs anymore, and Tampa is the No. 1 DST so far this year. Jax is also available as a stash, and would be a good fill-in for Week 8 when TB plays Baltimore, but my bench is a little tighter in this league and I would have to drop Rhamondre (have Taylor, Hunt, Clyde and Jeff Wilson). Given the state of the Pats offense, I think I'm OK with that.

Have Buffalo but not dropping. Had an extra roster spot until K bye week and picked up PhillyAnyone moving on from the Bills this early? Couple of “bad” matchups coming up against BAL and KC before (Pittsburgh sandwiched in between) their WK7 bye.
Considering rostering Dallas and Philly instead.
I was about to say I agreed with you that they're not worth starting this week, then I realized I was the one who explicitly advocated doing that in my previous post.I see a lot of JAX hype in here, but wondering if it’s completely justified. They’ve put up big scores 2 of the 3 weeks but some context is needed. They played a compromised QB last week who probably shouldn’t have even been playing, and in week 2 they shut out a washed Ryan who literally had no WRs to throw to.
I can’t see how people are putting them in the same class as Philly who just destroyed Wentz, who lit up the Jags in week 1.
Only 7 sacks on the year (2 games with only 1 sack) is a bit troubling as well. I think the jury is still out on them to some extent. They have been good so far but I wouldn’t be so quick to crown them as an elite ROS set and forget D.
Don’t get me wrong, they are definitely interesting, just don’t know if I’d be willing to take a kill shot by the Eagles in order to roster them this week.
