**(3-0) Eagles at (3-0) Buccaneers**(+3.5, 44) 1:00 (4 Viewers)

This Eagles' offense is still really conservative and perplexing.
Unless they're down 26-7 like last week, absolute refusal to open up the playbook
Up 14-3, don' think we will see much change unless the Bucs somehow seize control

Nope, you're right and I didn't think Tampa could hang so I was very hesitant to start Hurts but did anyway. I hedged a bit earlier. Nobody had picked up Dart in our league, so instead of forcing myself to watch three years and then the dust clouds coming through the telecast, I made sure to grab the golden boy. Philly just won't throw it.

Okay. If that's the story. I'm not killing my fantasy year waiting around for them to shoot the lock off of the playbook.

MIght be over-reacting here. First drive was beautiful, and very effective. Second was cut short by a shoestring tackle on what otherwise would have gone for 15+. The TD pass was something we hadn't seen before either.

I'm not so sure that the lock is still on the playbook

sure enough first play a gorgeous seam pass to Dallas for 20

Yer gonna get ur Jalen points this drive

Barkley will break a long one today. A TD run.

His missed tackle rate and YAC is serioiusly problematic. You guys might have cooked Saquon last year. He slow now.
I don’t think so, honest evaluation. The playcalling early has been dismal and anemic. And the Oline hasn’t been great, either. He won’t be close to last year, but he’ll atill be top 5 FF

The Philly defensiveness and then the delusion that always follows. You can calibrate a fine Swiss timepiece to it.

You gave him so many touches that the best back in football and by far in fantasy saw his AFP fall five spots because nobody would touch him until like pick number five. Sorry. Nobody did that but your team and your coach.

And he looks cooked. Look at him try to get going. That is not the healthy Saquon we once saw.

We all get that you hate Philly. but you undermine your arguments with the constant ad hominems.

I feel like Philly will win this game rather convincingly, 2 years ago the Bucs ran them off the field in the Playoffs at home, revenge factor plays a part in this
Feels like Philly 27...Tampa Bay 17 which is the point total Vegas has in mind, Bucs might trail by 2-3 TDs before they put some lipstick on this one
Hope I'm wrong but the gut is saying the Eagles have a huge advantage in the trenches right now

Time to roll back to the Quad Box

Why do I even bother starting AJ Brown when all Hurts does is throw to Smith or Goedert, or handoff to Barkley?

This week's regret start/bench will probably be Brown/Flowers.

I should say that if Philly doesn't have to throw and doesn't want to, then that's more the leauge's and oppositions' problem than theirs .

I mean, you play to win and. not to look pretty or innovative (although innovation makes it more fun).

But whatever. Just win.

They just had a drive where Jalen threw nothing but darts, man

Yeah, I was just saying in general. It's their right. It was just pretty gobsmackingly stupid to even wind up tight with Dallas or fall behind the Rams by 19. I'm not calling what they did kind of stupid because I hate the Eagles (I really do not like them much, and they might just be keeping it vanilla until they need the intricate ****) but because some of the stuff was really perplexing

by that graphic, the tush push has failed 20 times in 120 tries....how is that so dramatically different from a normal QB sneak

(it isnt)

I am the biggest dumbass in the world benching Goedert

AJ is the man beater. Devonta is the zone beater, historically.

The further Philly pulls out ahead, the less Hurts will need to throw 😵‍💫... another lackluster first half for me.

I've got Egbuka today, as well. He's done nothing either.

On this we agree. It’s taken me a herculean effort of will not to slag Patullo the first 3 weeks and write oages long screeds about the playcalling.

But they look good today, and I’m happy.

Same exact boat, brother. I feel your pain. And I’m facing JJETTA today. :ptts:

I don't get having to have guys hold a shade...guessing it must be against the rules otherwise but thats silly in Tampa with 100+ on the field

I've got nothing this year. If things continue like this, I'll be 0-4 before the game tomorrow night.

Meanwhile, my opponent this week has St. Brown and Gibbs on Detroit. My opponent also has Hurts at QB. I always figured, "hey if Hurts scores points, then Brown has a very good chance of scoring points too!" Pffft!

LOL! Brown just got to Target for -2 yards. Par for the course!

THAT'S HOW PHILLY DO!!!!!!!!

That crows sounds more like that game is being played at the Delaware Bay than Tampa Bay.
That’s because it’s a bunch of bandwagon in TB. It’s a bunch of transplants from other states especially PA and NYC so a lot of Steelers, both NY teams and Eagles fans. Also a lot of people travel to Florida
