This is my first time in a keeper league so I'm not sure who to keep. Very basic keeper league as we keep 3 players and that is it. No giving up pick in round they were selected and they can be lifetime keepers if we want. This is a 12 team ppr league where we start 1 qb, 1 rb, 1wr and 2 flex (rb/wr) and 1 te. I'm torn because I really love my qb, top 2 wrs and top 2/3 rbs. Everything I've read is stick with rbs b/c if not there won't be any left when you end up picking in the 1st round which may very well be the case since I pick 11 out of 12 (also it doesnt snake the draft order repeats at end of each round) but since I only start 1 rb I'm not as concerned as if it was start 2 mandatory.
Here's who I must decide between
Qb: RG3
RB: Forte, CJ2K, Morris, Steven Jackson
WR: AJ Greene, harvin, amendola
TE: Henandez, Gates
I'd love to roll with RG3, Green and harvin (to get a really young core) but I know if I do I will miss out on at least top 20 Rb talent and I expect a solid wr will be there at 11. Based on projected keepers I expect the following players to be back in the pool for round 1: Morris, CJ2K, Forte, Cobb, roddy white, Mike wallace, steve smith, decker, bradshaw,welker, luck, bowe, Wayne, nelson, garcon, nicks, ryan, jimmy graham, vjax, antonio brown, shorts, leshoure. Based on this do I roll with anyone other than the 3 above (other one I'm strongly considering is forte just thinking through ADP and that fortes will probably be best of all them (maybe earlier than even green and RG3)) and that Harvin's injury concerns might let him fall to me at end of first.
Also trading is open for next two weeks then it is shut down til after next years draft so I'm trying to acquire ray rice( owners other keepers will be 2 Wrs between Andre Johnson, welker and Colston so he needs to get younger there) I've offered any of my 2 Rb's or 1 of them along with Harvin. Should I dangle RG3 and try to get rice and then keep 2 RBs and Green? I figure I could possibly get Matt Ryan or just wait at QB.
