I'm a fan of the order where you just flip the 3rd round, so all odd rounds are 1-12 (except 3 is 12-1) and all even rounds are 12-1, that article actually points out that this is generally the best way to level the playing field.
My main league is a redraft with the reversal that I'm talking about, and I love it.
For THIS YEAR, I think the best spot to have is somewhere 9-12. You have so many options with how to take your draft from these spots. Two very solid RBs in rounds 1-2, or all the quality (maybe not Moss) WRs will be there in rounds 1 and/or 2, and you're still able to get a top WR or top 4 QB in round 3 if you want. Going early again in Round 4 is great, and allows you to take a chance on guys like McFadden, Thomas Jones, Holmes, or jump on Witten/Gates/Winslow.
We haven't done our lottery yet, but I'm really hoping I draw 9-12, and can open up with Portis, TO, Romo, McFadden/Jones.
