3rd pick in redraft: what are YOU doing? (1 Viewer)

Let's say you have the no. 3 pick in a re-draft league. LT goes no. 1. Then, as another thread discusses, a dilemma is there about whether to pick AP or Westbrook, depending a lot on your scoring. So, for no. 3, is it a no brainer that you pick AP or Westbrook, whichever is still on the board? Or do you give serious consideration to Addai and Jackson? I'm not certain that the no. 3 pick is any less a dilemma as the no. 2 pick, depending on your scoring system.

What would you do in a non-PPR league?

What would you do in a PPR league?

What would you do in a .5 PPR league?

I have the #3 pick in my 14 team ppr redraft league. The league scoring is biased towards pass happy QBs, 6/TD, 0.2/comp, 0.04/pyd and bonuses for over 275yds and over 25 completions. Last year Brady accounted for just under half his owners scoring each week. So I expect QBs to be flying off the board early. Brady, Manning, Brees, Romo and Palmer will all be gone before my 2nd pick.

I'm probably going to take whoever's undrafted out of LT2, ADP or Brady. Though I'm hoping Brady is off the board before my pick, I really don't want to chose between him and Westbrook.

Probably not the best comparison because of the screwy QB scoring.

I would say take whoevers left out of ADP or Westbrook. Addai or Jackson shouldn't even enter into your thought process.

I have Westbrook ranked 2nd anyway so i take him. I'm actually leaning towards Addai at 3rd then AP.

I have the number three in a 12 team/ 6 point for QB TD/ redraft. I'm seriously considering going Brady. My reasons:

1) This is a league where QB's dominate...6pts per TD/1 pt per 30 yds/-2 points per INT. A great QB is what is needed for success and I don't think that Romo, Brees or Manning will be there by my pick in the second.

3) The RB situation in the NFL is murky. There are a number of rookies and a lot of potential for RBBC. There will be RB's out there later in the draft.
