3rd Round Reversal Drafts (1 Viewer)

My league has been doing 3rd Round Reversals for a little over 10 years.  Most of the league loved it, especially when players like LaDainian Tomlinson and Priest Holmes were dominating the top of the draft board.  But we voted to go with a straight snake draft this year, and I'm a little sad to see the 3RR pushed aside.  We choose our draft slots each year, which made the 3RR draft even more strategic.

Anyone still use a 3RR draft?  Am I just being nostalgic?

Lots still use it.  This year it seems necessary more than any year in the last 5 or so.

We did it for 3-4 years but dropped it a few years back when the top of the draft became more balanced.  Agree with Deamon that it would be something to reconsider for this year.

I liked it from the standpoint of strategy when you are deciding on your draft spot.  Definitely added to the options.  Saw a lot more people picking the back end of the draft then instead of the middle.

I'm a bit peeved that my new dynasty isn't doing it. Instead first two rounds get dropped at the end of the year and players taken 3rd on are dynasty.  Having a late first sucks in that not only do we get lesser best players for redraft, our best keeper is less than the other. You could argue for the earlier even rounds, but we'll see.

Only 2 rounds in now so both will be dropped but I ended up with Andrew luck at 1.10 and McCoy at 2.03 (2qb)
