The 3rd year WR thing isn't as big as it once was because of all the pass happy systems in college, but I think the 3rd year is still a big step for some guys. Last year we still saw Steve Johnson break out.
The 2009 class is truly impressive. Last year 4 from the class had top 20 finishes(PPR) in just their second year: Nicks, Maclin, Harvin, Wallace.
Still plenty of other good players from this class ready to finish in the top 20. My list in order I like them to break into the top 20 this year:
1: Collie-If he is concussion free its a no brainer.
2: Knox-Stable QB situation. Continues to develop skills.
3: Britt-Possible suspension and questionable QB status pushes him here. Otherwise he's at the top of this list.
4: Crabtree-Talent is there, but doesn't seem to have a fire in him to want to be good.
5: B. Tate-Stable QB situation, good opportunity.
6: Mike Thomas-Talking PPR only.
Some other notables:
Julian Edelman-PPR only
Louis Murphy-Longshot, especially if he gets suspended.
Massaquoi-Starter, but just a one trick pony?
Robiskie
J. Dillard/Underwood
