first draft this year with a top 5 pick..

1.04- Chris Johnson

2.09- G. Jennings

3.04- R. Wayne

4.09- W. Welker

5.04- D. Williams

6.09- P. Manning

7.04- S. Rice

8.09- Ryan Williams

9.04- B. Pettigrew

10.09- J. Cook

11.04- L. Evans

12.09- J. Ringer

13.04- Philly D

14.09- M. Williams

15.04- J. Tamme

16.09- D. McNabb

17.04- C. Williams

18.09- M. Barber

19.04- S. Janokowski

20.09- E. Doucet

I feel like I did not get "enough" out of rounds 10-20 by going with stop gap type players with no break out potential. My toughest decision during the draft was Rice over Grant. Also, Blount (A player I have stayed away from this year) slipped all the way down to my 4th round pick but decided to still go with Welker.

Overall a very good draft. I don't like rounds 13-15 very much- DST to high for my liking to begin with. M Williams (I assume BMW) is a weird fit as he isn't likely to do much without Rice/Miller missing significant time and he doesn't cover Rice's biggest weakness which is TJ potentially flaming out and passing for < 200 yards a game.

The Tamme pick I don't like in general, better off seeing if you can get him in the 18-20th rounds as he doesn't do much for you or grab one of the young TEs that are getting rave reviews in camp.

Your team though is very strong and I like the way you backed up Peyton- someone else posted their #1 pick draft and they top PM 5.01 and then took Ryan 11.01- you showed how to grab value and then back him up in case of injury very nicely.

Thanks for the input. The reason I went with Williams was at that point of the draft there wasn't much left and If rice does go down i'd still have a teams top WR. I know thats not saying much when u look at seattle though.

I liked Tamme as a high reward type of pick and felt I was able to afford to throw away a pick at that point of the draft if it did not work out.

I'll give you an entirely different viewpoint for discussion purposes. Just recognize this might be me. I don't think you got "enough" out of rounds 1-7 with almost every pick. Chris Johnson is risky because of his holdout, which looks to be protracted, and sometimes we see injuries to RB's that come into camp very late. At least you got Ringer to go with him. Jennings, in my book, is overrated in the second round because of all the GB weapons there. Wayne showed slowdown last year, and that is always scary in the 3rd round. Welker is fine in the 4th. Good pick in ppr. DeAngelo is not a good ppr player, and we don't know the amount of split time Stewart will get with this new coaching staff. 50%? 25%? manning isn't even playing as you know, and QB's fall in these drafts. 6th round is ok but you are banking on the old Peyton Manning. Another unknown. Sidney Rice? My God have you seen Tavaris Jackson? Eek. I don't trust anyone with a Seahawk on his helmet.I like R. Williams and Pettigrew where you took them as upside players.

I like you approach in the first five rounds. Obviously there are concerns about ChJo's hold out, but I would have bit on him at that spot. Not a fan of Jennings because of his inconsistency, and I like a couple of other WRs better than Wayne, but that is just personal preference. Solid WR1 and WR2.

Welker and DWill in 4/5 is solid value.

I would have waited on QB a built depth elsewhere in RD6. What RBs/WRs/TEs were available there?

The Seahawks are an avoid for me at this point. I do not believe they will have good QB play and their OLine is a work in progress (might start two rookies on right side). So Rice could struggle.

You stole Pettigrew at the 9th pick.

And backing ChJo up with Ringer was a must.

Would like to know what QBs where available in the 10th Rd.

Strong draft but you could struggle at the flex positions.

I would revisit rounds 6, 7, and 10 and see who was available in comparison to your selections.

Very nice first 9 rounds, first 6 picks are increible value imo.

Besides the handcuff not particularly impressed with any of these picks. Were there no more potential starting TEs when you took Tamme?

Seeing that you got D. Will in the 5th I would do it every time.

Picks made right after manning....RBAddai, Bush, FJackson, P ThomasWRBurress, Amendola, SMoss, SSmithTEWinslow, M Lewis, T Gonzalez.Out of this group i'd have gone SMoss but he'd be my first back up flex at that point and I felt Manning was more value to my team as a starting QB than Moss as a backup flex. I could have gone F Jackson or Addai but they also would have been a back up RB/ Flex bench (starter in certain weeks)and even though this would have given me some RB depth I felt Manning as a starting QB was more value to my team when you take into account who i had already drafted.

Just a tidbit on Greg Jennings I see everyone bashing. I get his previous inconsistency. I get his upgraded teammates. But, he attended Fitz's off-season workouts and that has helped others. Not saying it's going to send him through the roof, but I don't see the dropoff some are expecting.

Just to clarify, my comment about Jennings was hardly "bashing." I have him behind a couple of other WRs, but still a solid WR1 option. He is slightly lower in my rankings because inconsistency can bite you in H2H.
