49ers at Patriots (1 Viewer)

After the Pats tied it at 31 am I the only one that thought LMJ may have stepped on the line at around his 40 on his big return? I can't believe that it didn't get a mention or a closer look.

Tired of the pats favoritism. Since when is feet getting tangled PI?
It's got nothing to do with the Pats, the NFL favors offense.
Brady at home has earned those calls, just like Michael's extra step. Should be expected.
well that's just nonsense. rules are rules. no one "earns" exceptions to the rules.
:lmao: :lmao: there was no way that was pi.pats are just one of those lucky teams that never gets a bad call against them, I guess.

They were called for holding on every single kick return, had brutal field position all day long. I am not sure which game you were watching...

What world do you live in?
It's a failure on the part of the officials if it is ingrained and we should never accept it as a given.

I think it's been shown in pretty much every sport that the home team disproportionately benefits from calls (or non-calls). The refs probably don't realize they're doing it, but in the heat of the moment their subconscious tends to bias them in favor of not pissing off the 80,000 people staring at them. It's human nature and, I'm sure, totally involuntary on the part of the officials. If you want robots officiating football games, then build a robot that can officiate football games. In the meantime, we'll continue to use humans, flawed as we are.

This is all true. But maybe not very relevant to the argument started by the statement "Brady at home has earned those calls."
