OK this is not supposed to happen. It's OK for round 1, but after that if it happens again you guys need to cancel the game and rechallenge. That will switch sides.
Sure, understood.  Sorry.

Tim beat the mess out of me. I haven't played in a few years. He built a massive V wedge right down the heart of the board and completely shut me down.

Sand beats me.  Early blunder to go down a knight, and he didn't make any mistakes the rest of the way.

My 5th and 13th moves were total blunders.
Consistently avoiding those types of simple mistakes and taking advantage of the same is the difference between being a ~1000 level player and a ~1400 level player.  Number 13 is more understandable since you saw a tactic for yourself, but didn't see the potential for my tactic at the end of your calculation.  With some experience and drills, the basic "bishop on d3 unleashing a discovered attack on the d-file" becomes an automatic red flag that makes you look more accurately at the position.

We had a draw.  I had his king cornered with my King and Queen.  He had no legal moves left but was not in check.  the app stopped and awarded a draw. Never seen that.  Thought I was gonna win.   :X

Can you send us this game? It might be instructive. Thanks.

Under "actions" go to view game, email it to yourself, copy it, and paste it here.
Was able to get my moves and the pgn file which I'm guessing is the game file. Not sure how to copy it and paste it here.  In any event, time to move on to next match.

How are these two games going? Thx.
We're nearing the end. Otello just whammied me, and is almost certainly going to win.

Kutta defeats AAA - there's no point in posting the game - I made a stupid blunder and I doubt anybody here is beating kutta giving up a free minor piece.

It's just text right?  Copy and paste?

OK, so you just need to work on mating with a king and queen against a king. You correctly forced him into a corner, but 55. Kf2 creates a stalemate. Correct is 55. Qg4 kh1 (forced) 56. kf2 Kh2 (forced) 57. Qg2 #

You might try playing blitz chess because in those games this type of position comes up a lot and you need to know how to mate with queen and king often in just a few seconds in order to avoid running out of time. You get the hang of it pretty quickly.

Cool thx.  I have played alot with friends.  Never online.  We don't do stalemates.  Someone must lose.  I know competitive real chess isn't like that though

Challenge me whenever @Nick Vermeil
