Apologies to anyone who did not get to be white at least 3 times. I end up having the most trouble with this, and while I'm able to do it for most players, there are a few who always seem to lose out.

I appreciate the bump but I only have 2 points.

I was wondering how you do this, actually . . .?  I have no idea if I played white three times and don't really care, but just curious as to your methodology.  PS, next time out, keeping me from playing both andy and kutta in a third straight tourney would be madly appreciated :coffee:

Eff that.  I vote AA gets them twice each.

I just look at how many times you play white and black and try to keep it even that's all.

As far as who you play, round 1 is randomly chosen, but after that you get paired against somebody close to your score.

Gotcha.

And my comment about who I played was a just a very small joke.

Kind of funny.  Out of 344 matches on Chess Time, I have only 24 draws.  In this tournament, 3 out of my 5 matches have ended in draws.

Thanks for running this Tim. You always do a great job with the matchups and keeping things going. Much appreciated.

Scoobus defeats AA, making not one mistake in 50 moves.  Truly amazing.  I'm humbled.

Certainly enjoyed the front half of this tourney more than the back.  Thanks, tim, for organizing!!  Nice job and congrats to all the winners! :)

Oh, and anyone wanting a game shoot me an invite on CT if you don't mind making it for two days.  I'm in the middle of almost 20 games right now.

20?!  I can only play a few at a time.  More than that and I start forgetting what I have planned and what traps I have to avoid.

Yeah.  I just keep adding opponents whom I enjoy playing.  And you're right; I do the same thing you mentioned.  But I find it challenging, if also frustrating because I drop games I shouldn't.

Need2know beats psychopav
That was great. I totally didn't see this coming...
