5th pick (10 teams) (1 Viewer)

What strategy do you like here? Some background: PPR league with 6pt passing TDs

Each team gets a keeper. Relevant ones are...Rice and CJ3 are kept and both draft ahead of me. My keeper is Turner.

IMO the 5 slot is tough already with regards to which position to take but made even harder now with CJ3 and Rice out of the picture. I'm sure MJD and ADP will be gone by 5, otherwise not sure who will go.

I'd try to wrap up a better keeper player and hopefully someone who produces in '2010'.. maybe Matthews... You'll have someone left to you in the top 15 player range, if that guy is a strong keeper player, I'd take him.. If not, I'd look at the next couple players on my list.I wouldn't want Turner as my keeper in a 10 team keep 1 league...

Really?? Only other viable options for me are Felix Jones and Moreno. Even in PPR, I don't see the production of Turner there if he stays healthy.

Turner may be your best option for 2010, but I'd be looking for my 11,12,13 keeper with an early pick. I'm just not a Turner fan and to me, he may never be anything more than a 1 year producer (08).. He's not very young, last year proves he can't be counted on long term, and his career yields 1 great season..I think I'd be going for Matthews, or a top WRWho do you suspect the other 9 keepers to be?

Educated guess is the other keepers will be B. Wells, A. Bradshaw, C. Benson, J. Stewart, K. Moreno, S. Smith (nyg), F. JonesAlso, each year we can only keep a player drafted in rd 10 or later. That keeper counts as your draft pick 2 rds lower each year until you are picking them lower than rd 10. At which time they are no longer an option. For example, I got Turner in the 18th rd. during his last year in SD. So that next year he was my 16th rd pick and so on...

That certainly changes the perspective a bit.... In that case, I like your keeperYou should still be looking at all the natural first rounders then... aside from Rice and CJ.. Guess AJ, AP, MJD, Gore won't fall to you. You're looking at D-Will, Mendy, Moss, Wayne, Rogers, Brees, Manning, S-Jax. I think I'd be leaning towards a WR since you've already a 1st round RB. A few good RB's left as well.... Need to focus on pass catching RB's if you go that route...

Yep, thanks. Thinking AJ or Gore if either is there then maybe Jackson. Coming back, Brees, Manning, or Rodgers would be great, if not I have tough decision as I'd like to make sure to snag one of those or Schaub, Romo, Brady or Rivers coming back down in the 3rd.

I wouldn't count on AJ or Gore making it to the1.5. And you probably won't see S-jax at 2.6 either... Maybe you should plan differently and if one of them fall to you it'll be gravy...

I was thinking Jackson at 1.5 if no AJ or Gore...
