League:

8 pt rush/receivng tds

5 pt pass tds

1 pt every 25 yards up to 100, then 2 pts per 25 yards

no PPR

I have the 7th pick in our draft. Am I crazy to be leaning towards Ronnie Brown?

If LJ, LT, SA, Portis, Barber, Edge are gone...

The choices-

Brown-

He will be the man in the newly revamped miami offense. High risk, but could be huge reward.

Jordan-

ugh. i had him last year, and did fine weeks 2-6, but save week 12, tanked the rest of the season. i just refuse. the raiders will suck again this year.

Jackson-

he is probably my 2nd choice, the rams terribleness is a bit scary as well, but he is the man, and should have a big season

Rudi-

solid and on a very strong team, not sexy but not scary

Edge-

i think he'll be gone, knowing the people picking ahead of me, but would you take him if he's there? so many questions with the AZ o-line...but they should have a high powered offense

Thoughts?

Take Brown  ,

have a cold beverage of your choice :banned: ,

and laugh about how easy your starting RB's week 14-16 playoff schedule is. :lmao:

Murrrrr! :excited:

I had choice of any draft pick 4th thru 12. Since I know the big three will be gone. I took 7th hoping to land Brown.

Brown is the pick here in my mind. I have the same choice to make.
Best schedule of the bunch, no vultures (aside from the Culpepper scramble on broken plays from the 5 going in), and solid talent around him.Rudy is the safe pick, but IMO Brown is 2nd (safe wise) and has a higher ceiling if things fall into place and he can stay reasonably healthy.I drew #7 in a 14 team league and have been kicking SJax, Rudi, and Brown around for ever. Would also pass on Edge for all 3 fwiw.

I've been mulling over this same decision and have settled on Brown over Jackson. I plan on going RB, WR, RB, RB (we start two RBs)

For me, I'd go Rudi.

WYSIWYG. Very consistent over the past two years and he plays on a high caliber offense. Brown has still not shown anything. Until he does, my money goes on the safe pick.

Rule of thumb: Never let your first round pick have question marks around him.

Rudi is the choice.

I also have the 7th pick in my 12 team performance league. I plan to go with Rudi, he just seems safer then Brown/Jackson/Jordan crowd. Rudi seems to be a sure deal to get around 1100 rushing yards and 10/12 td's, I don't feel the same about the other guys. If Palmer is good to go week one it cements Rudi for sure.
