80's / 90's TV and Movie Crushes (1 Viewer)

no schtick.

just saw her a few months ago at some kind of industry/fan meet and greet she AND wurher came to in NJ (they roomed together, IIRC). wife reports that wurher fell of the wagon in a big way and was kind of a ####-block to the two of them trying to catch up when my wife went to hang out with megan.

megan is great- and still looks basically the same, which hurts her for casting- too young to be the matriarch, and too old to be the leading lady or love-interest. I always thought and think that she'd be great in a sit-com. her last main thing was a leading role on General Hospital for a couple of seasons... I think she modeled her character on my wife.
Wait - am I reading this right? Wuhrer and Ward were roomies? OMG the possibilities here are endless. :towelwave:
They appeared together in back in the early '90s in a Fox series called Class of '96.

Was a decent show, but didn't last long.

I had so many back in the day, and a lot of them had been listed - Eggert, Leah Thompson, Thorne-Smith, etc.

Couple of mine that I hadn't seen mentioned were:

Star from The Lost Boys

Melody from Hey Dude
Jaime Gertz is another 80s and 90s. She has aged VERY well.

The other is Ben Stiller's wife and mother of his children. Definitely outkicked his coverage.

Andi from The Goonies
Liked her in Lucas as well. On that front, will also mention Courtney Thorne-Smith.
wow... again, no schtick- I went to HS with Courtney TS.

Beyond being insanely pretty for HS, she was incredibly honest, self-aware, empathetic- completely grounded, great person. I had a brief stretch where I was hanging out with her and her friends where I thought I had a shot (she was dating the HS QB, in typical teen movie fashion)... I had no shot.

She left partway through her senior year to film Lucas- her first movie. At the opening weekend at the local theater, a bunch of us went and cheered her name as it went up on screen. A few seconds later, a bunch of people cheered for Winona Ryder's name... I guess she was local too, and may have been her first film as well. After the movie the two groups of friends/fans got into a knife-fight in the parking lot.

Lucas was filmed in my hometown. We cheered the entire movie. No knife-fights after the movie, just slow claps.

Tawni Kitaen, for me btw. Bachelor Party and Gwendoline :stalker: ftw
Whitesnake videos

ETA: I just looked up Gwendoline. 12 year old me would have enjoyed that movie a lot, I wish the FFA had been around in the 80s :kicksrock:

No Lucas was filmed in the NW Chicago 'burbs. Arlington Heights HS mainly (where my cousins went to HS).

Word - but how can you not include a pic from The Crush given the thread title? lol

She was smokin' in that movie.
I originally included a link to a collection of pics from The Crush but then read somewhere she was 15 during the filming so I decided I better remove.
:oldunsure: I had heard she had just turned 18 given the provocative type of shots they had of her, but IMBD suggests she wasn't 18 just yet. Uhhhh... pretty ballsy for them to show her that way. Oh well, I was a youngin' when the movie came out and was like :o
