That incident is a microcosm of the Cowboys collectively: They can't stop anyone on defense and when confronted or challenged, they shrivel up and die. Even on the Dave Campo Cowboys, who were consistnetly lousy, someone (George Teague) would at least pretend they had a pulse, and hit the taunter. When Furrey did that. nobody did a darn thing. Nothing. Crickets.
This, as a Cowboy fan, is as frustrating as anything else that has gone on all season. They appear to be apothetic and resolved to mediocrity. It's one thing to lose, it's another to have your will broken, and that is what appears to be happening here. Two huge December games and two mind-numbing, listless efforts.
