Gronk and Hernandez are virtually interchangeable IMO, but Hernandez may get the slight edge in PPR as Gronk has more experience with blocking. In terms of value- which is all you can really judge after one week in the books- Hernandez was drafted much later than Gronk, and a lot of FF players probably ended up with gold as they either drafted him very late as a TE1 or took a flyer on him as a TE backup. In one of my leagues, I got Hernandez in the 12th while Gronk went in the 8th.
I agree with the recent post that NE looks like a powerhouse and will likely go far this year- not that it directly factors into it, but the NFL likes a good story with the team riding high and dedicating the season to the memory of the owner's wife.
