Why can I access three of my four leagues that are on myfantasyleague at work?

The one I can't access is at myfantasyleague3

the others are at higher numbers. Does that matter?

Any advice or help?

I don't want to come off as preachy but if you're workplace specifically targeted myfantasyleague as a website they want blocked to you are you absolutely sure you want to try circumnavigate their efforts and find a back door to get there? Is FF really that important? It's an honest question because plenty of people have jobs they consider disposable and don't really care if they work where they do or get a job across the street next week if it really comes down to it. I'd just hate to be in any job interview and have to either lie or explain to a potential employer why I left my last job if FF had anything to do with it.IMO if you really want/need to be in contact with your FF league throughout the work week it's worth the modest investment that will allow you to access your league through a web-enabled cell phone and use it "off the clock" so to speak.

does anybody have a similar one for CBS fantasy website?
I haven't been able to figure it out as my CBS baseball league is blocked... I think that the problem is that your league name is part of the cbs.sportsline.com URL and you really can't get an "workable" IP off of that...At least I haven't been able to yet...

do they have sites which browse within a site...

i.e. you go to www.fakewebsite.com and within fake website you can browse to a site which is blocked.

Just curious.

The MFL sites are not blocked at my work, but when I visit one of the sites, it tries to load some type of chat (either AOL or ICQ) which is showing up as blocked. Does anyone know of a way to disable this?

:goodposting: Don't take this issue lightly! My employer takes its "employee electronic communications policies", or whatever they call them, very seriously. This Spring, five employees, including two directors  , were fired for participating in fantasy baseball on company time and/or equipment.

Roll your eyes if you want, but proceed with caution.

if you really don't want it traced back to you, the best thing to do is sneak into a coworkers office/cubicle. the majority of these systems do not just block specific site access but also record the site access and attempt to estimate the amount of time spent on the site.

Even if you get around it, and you've already shown as an "offender" of a specific policy, you may be monitored for sites you go to. any sys admin is going to be interested in seeing why a moron user is typing in the IP address. they will also be interested in seeing said moron escorted out the door as an example why NOT to circumvent the language, i mean innernet filter.

Then again you may work for a company that uses these types of things to determine productivity and will use this to establish your merit raise come review time (and most likely doesn't even bother to let you know, unless you count the policy that you probably signed as "letting you know").

But whatever, go ahead.
