Peterson is taking all of his offensive linemen (starters and backups) to Hawaii with him all expenses paid. After reading everything this kid has been through and seeing stuff like this, you can't help but to root for him....Hes similar to LT in more ways than just his running I guess eh :confused:

AP not AD :rant:
AD = ALL DAY...his nickname given to him in college, now carried over to the NFL :shark:
We get it. It's a stupid nickname. HTH.
Maybe, but I'm not gonna be the one to tell him that.
What does telling him that have anything to do with using the nickname here?
It's the same as me calling you redman here. At least I'm guessing that's not your real name. All I'm saying is that I'm not going to be the one that tells him that redman thinks his nickname is stupid. He and his college and now pro teammates don't seem to think it's stupid, so that's good enough for me.Go AD!! Help me get a championship!!!!!

You're not talking to him. :shrug:

Go ADP...thanks for the whopping 3 yards in week 14 to knock me out of the playoffs (33 would have been great)....but ya GO ADP!!!!

I'm sure you weren't biatching when he get you to those playoffs....AD has always been a class act. You'll see a lot more of this over the next few years.I'm sure the incentives he received will more than pay for what he's going to pay for his linemans expenses!

He only gets a 250,000 dollar bonus for making the pro bowl. So, if you figure 10+ linemen to Hawaii and most likely in nice resorts, he's probably only gonna see half that.Great move by a kid. Shows he has his head on right and knows how to give credit where it's due.

After the last Chicago game when Emmit was completely butchering the postgame interview with ADP, you could tell as he sat there and watched Emmitt stumble through every word that this kid just got it. He just sat there and stared Emmitt in the eyes throughout the whole process, smiled, and nodded his head to everything Emmitt said. Even though Emmitt practically got his nose brown he was kissing so much ADP bottom, I think he really did pay attention to every word he said. I think he was very humbled. That was good to see, since in his own right Emmitt (although will never be a broadcast legend), certainly is a football legend. And on a side note, during that very same interview Emmitt told ADP to be sure and take care of his big guys up front .... Sounds to me like not only does ADP get it, but it is not an act. I think he is genuinely humbled, and he may even actually even listen when given advice! I hope he stays out of trouble, and healthy. It will be fun to watch.

Agreed on Adrian being a great kid, especially given the crap that has surrounded him in recent years (murder, imprisonment, etc.). Would like to point out that he told one of the sideline ladies BEFORE talking to Emmitt that he would take his linemen with him to Hawaii if he was nominated.And I was :popcorn: when Emmitt gave him "the opportunity to ask one of the greatest of all time anything he wanted." That was pretty egocentric and lame.Looking forward to watching an awesome career unfold over the next few years.

Guys, if any of you ever get the chance to go to the Pro Bowl, it is a blast! Not for the game, but for the many hours in the resorts running into your favorite players.

The Pro Bowlers are basically off limits to us, but if you go to the Hilton Hawaiian Village, this is where the HOF Players stay as well as most of the other dignitaries.

I had more than 1 conversation 2 years ago with Tom Jackson, Mark Schlereth, Warren Moon, Jim McMahon, **** Vermeil, etc. etc. etc.

Everyone was great as long as you aren't too pushy.

I just find it funny you have people correcting poeple...who gives a #### what you call him? AP...ADP...AD...DP...who cares....we all know who we are talking about.lol....If we all decided to call him Adrian Peterson would anybody really confuse him with the bum in Chicago?

Mr. Peterson said:

:boxing:
Actually it was given to him since he was a young little lad by his father. Why not just call him ADP like alot of people on the boards. (see sig)
Hmm...AD = All Day

AP = Adrian Peterson

ADP <> Adrian "All Day" Peterson

AADP = Adrian "All Day" Peterson

I think we should all go with AADP (American Assocaiation for Disabled People?).
