Now that Cleveland has signed J Lewis, and the Texans have signed A Green, it looks like this years RBs could fall the same way that they did a few years ago with KJ and S Jax. Where do you think AD will end up and if you want to look further down what about Lynch? I think that Buffalo traded McGahee to try to get AD running behind their new o-line, but could see the Packers trying to move up. Also, one team that no one is talking about, what about the Falcons drafting him? I think that they are in a position for him to possibly fall to them, and he would be a better fit for their new running scheme. Any other ideas or thoughts?

I still see him going to the Browns......Lewis just signed a 1 year deal so he is not the long term solution!

Dude, just get used to it. His nickname is "AD". I would love to see Buffalo trade up for him. Come draft day if he does not get drafted by Cleveland I could see the Bills making a move for him. I honestly don't care if they overpay for him. I think the D is coming into thier own. If they can find a LB worth drafting in the 2nd then that could be the missing link on that side of the ball. On the other side, the only thing holding the offense down in my opinion was Willis. Get a future HOF RB in Peterson and you'll see your offense get better in a hurry.

Ok, I'll get used to it. However, I'm wondering: does the English nomenclature have a word describing when someone's nickname gets a nickname? Also, are there any other examples anyone can think of? Ray Mancini can now be "BB". Paul Orndorf could have been "MW" back in the day. "Now playing, 'Gridiron Gang', starring Dwayne "TR" Johnson!"I implore you fellow countrymen, how lazy must we be, how maroonic are we, to have to abbreviate abbreviations?

Please refer to me as "GH" from now on. :bye:

Meh, I don't have a problem with it. I'll mourn the decline of civilization over more important things than what Adrian Peterson wants used as his nickname. It's not all that uncommon anyway. Here are some other abbriviated nicknames that will be recognized:GOAT

SOD

MDE

AoD

Oh, I don't get it either. But that's the way it is and that's what he's known by. I think I'm gonna start calling him "ADP" and I hope everyone can join me and those already calling him that. Come on folks, join in on the fun!

Teams most likely to draft AD/AP in descending order:

1. Cleveland (Jamal is poop, IMO)

2. Houston (still trying to recover from missing Bush, they will jump at the chance to draft a back they will publically say is more 'rounded' then Bush was/is. Green's presence in Houston will not have a significant impact on their long term decision-making.

3. Buffalo: will need to fill the big RB hole and may not like who's left as far as FA's

4. Green Bay: may break the bank to take the back who most agree is better than Lynch, but could just as easily sit tight and let the undervalued Lynch fall into their laps.

5. Detroit: Tinker Bell and a couple of gimps doesn't inspire alot of confidence in anyone.

6. Minnesota: Chester is good, but AD is better.

7. Atlanta: will ride Dunn until Norwood is ready, because the latter looked very explosive last year. Still, they may get trigger happy if AD comes up at their pick.

Where would Peterson (refuse to call him AD) go in a startup dynasty draft that includes 2007 rookies? You think he goes in the 1st rd? Last year in a startup league Reggie Bush went 1.5. I project Peterson to go late first, early 2nd. I sure as hell wouldn't draft him there, because "Mr. I run upright and get injured" is no Reggie Bush.

You're right, he's better. I'd say early second round.

AP is definitely the best RB in this draft. I think AP will go in the top 10 somewhere because of how good AP is. Even with the Browns signing Jamal Lewis, I don't think he is a guy that makes you not take a guy like AP or another guy similar to the talent of AP. AP would be a good fit for the Bills, and maybe the Bills would trade up for AP - I don't really know. Oakland has been entertaining visits from free agent running backs, so maybe they would take AP - after all, they were on the verge of cutting Jordan before he restructured. AP could go there.

I like AP. I think AP will have a good career.

Your clarity on the person of whom you are speaking is VERY appreciated.

I think he's crazy to suggest that Antonio Pittman is the best running back in the draft.

If he starts to fall towards pick 8-10 wouldn't be srprised to see the Packers or maybe even the  Giants try to move up to get him.

Yup. I think AP goes in the top 10, but its likely that the Packers trade up to get him unless they are content to let Lynch fall into their laps. Either way, the Packers will get a nice RB.

I'm not sure you understand what a nickname is? His nickname could be "Bubba" for what it's worth, I don't understand why the AD nickname is so upsetting...

you guys are just too much....how does Adrian Peterson= AD......is there another AP that i don't know about?
