Adam Vinatieri out for week 3 (1 Viewer)

The Colts have downgraded PK Adam Vinatieri (groin), FS Bob Sanders (knee), and WR Brandon Stokley (ankle) to "out" for Week 3.None were able to practice this week. Martin Gramatica will be Indianapolis' kicker but isn't worth using in fantasy leagues. Stokley is to the point where he's barely worth hanging onto. Mike Doss and Antoine Bethea will probably start at the safety spots against the Jags Sunday.Source: colts.com

04 Vinatieri, Adam Kicker Out R Groin

Bill "Nuh" Polian has been playing games with the injury report this season but out is out. With Simon and Sanders out and many other defensive starters questionable it might not be a bad week to start them Jaguar players. The Adam Vinatieri thing might matter more on kick offs than FGs. If Gramatica can't get the deep kick offs, it could lead to much better starting field position for the Jags.

In other news, money can be used to purchase good and services, but isn't worth collecting.
You knew Bob Sanders was out? Wow..
Sorry, if my sarcasm was unclear. I was referring to the stupidity of claiming that Gramatica is worthless in fantasy leagues. If he's getting the FG opps, at Indy, in a dome, for a potent offense playing a good defense, then he MOST definitely has value IMO. To state that he "isn't worth using in fantasy leagues" is simply wrong.

I think Mare is a good pickup (was available in most of my leagues) for awhile.

Bye not until week 8

Home TEN week 3

At HOU week 4

At NYJ week 6

Home GB week 7

Only bad matchup in that stretch is at NE week 5.

"If Gramatica can't get the deep kick offs, it could lead to much better starting field position for the Jags."

Martin has a very strong leg. Made a 65 yard FG in college which is the NCAA record without aid of a tee.

I don't understand this. Sorry but he's a long way from college.I can't recall his kickoffs for NE this summer so I'd guess they were OK. I think we're digging for a problem here. He's been around, he can fill in for a game

Absolutely. Indianapolis has been playing below average defense. The Jaguars should go off here.J
