Addai/Keith (1 Viewer)

The Great Snook

Considering that Keith had a more than decent game while Addai was out injured, is he now back on the bench full time? Does anyone else think that he may have earned himself more playing time which will reduce Addai's touches? I'm thinking he may not be a bad play for teams ravaged with injuries and/or skip weeks.

Thoughts?

I am playing him because I have no other options (byes and injuries). I am not expecting too much even if he does get carries in relief of Addai. That Jax run D is tough. If I get 30+ yards out of him I will be happy.

Here's hoping he gets a few third down touches. I certainly would not expect much against JAX. For me it's either Musa or Keith.

Addai is the man... Keith will probably do very little unless Addai goes down again.

Keith's numbers were respectful, but keep in mind Indy took an early lead that week and so they just ran ran ran the last half of the game. Had addai been playing he would have put up even bigger numbers.

I would not recommend starting Keith.

I would hope so after his wk 4 & 5 performances. Dungy said (in preseason) he prefers a two back system. I got to think KK is a pleasant surprise. I could see KK with 10 touches today.

It's surprising that there has been so little discussion about the Addai/Keith situation, especially when you compare it to Maroney/Morris/Faulk or Jacobs/Ward/Droughns. Keith had a helluva game, and if Addai finds himself less-than-100% we could see Keith step in immediately.

I think Indy would be smart to play them both and use Keith just like they used Rhodes last year. This is what I expect Indy will do to keep Addai fresh. Addai takes a little hit and Keith gets a huge upgrade. I think they'll both be very effective.
