Same here, it looked like they both had lots of room to run. Keith looked better on the stretch plays, but Addai looked better up the middle.Handcuffed Addai with Keith and couldn't be happier. The only thing that worries me is Keith looked too good. Would hate for them to start splitting carries.
Didn't think Keith looked beteer than Addai in ANY aspect of the game. Really didn't seem to get going until late in the game, and even then on the stretch he barely got around the corner. I'm surprised to see people still doubting Addai after last night.Addai said:Same here, it looked like they both had lots of room to run. Keith is definitely the back up, but if there is an injury to Addai it appears that Keith will be able to step in and produce. His first carry on the stretch play Keith ran for 7 yards and lowered his shoulder to finish the run. Living in Saskatchewan and watching Keith for the last 4 years I am happy for the guy. He is turning out to be a great story. The guy has been productive wherever he has played and he is doing a great job of what has been asked of him so far. I knew he was quick enough and elusive enough to play at the NFL level, but what has shocked me is his power of what I have seen so far in his preseason work and last night. He is finishing off runs and he continues to have a wonderful ypc. Good on him.Didn't think Keith looked beteer than Addai in ANY aspect of the game. Unless said team has Addai. If I had to start Keith instead of Addai I doubt that would lift my team to the next level and would most certainly hurt it a bit.I'm thinking this guy Keith may be a player that can lift a fantasy team to the next level, with the right situation of course. Owned in only 20% of CBS Leagues.
True. But is Addai that much better than Keith? I don't know. Is it a product of the system? I'm in no way trying to suggest Keith is better, but on that offense how much production would be lost between the two of them. And if you don't own Addai, he is great trade bait and possible good RB2.I mentioned in the handcuff thread that I don't put much stock in it. But I also won a league a few years ago because I had LJ as a backup (I know it's a different caliber player) and I think this is a great sleeper player.Unless said team has Addai. Is this guy worth a roster spot just to handcuff Addai? True Indy's offense is unmatched but this guy is a 27 year old rookie. How good could he do if Addai is hurt? I have him on my bench now just in case Addai gets hurt but with bye weeks and other waiver wire players emerging Im not sure how long I can hold him on my roster.
I agree 100%!I can see the Colts using him like they did Rhodes last year.I thought he looked good. Kid's hungry.
Indy RB will be valuable. Since 2002, Indy as a team has averaged 1635.4 yards and 13.2 TDs. Obviously the bulk of that has been Edge, but even in his absence the likes of Mungro and Rhodes have been very effective. One thing I did notice with Keith is that he was running hard and downhill. If Addai were to miss time, I think he would be a viable starter just by the nature of being in this offense where you have to respect the pass.As for handcuffing, it depends on what else is out there, how deep the league is, how deep roster spots are, etc. In a 10 or 12 team league with 5 bench spots (14 total?), there's probably better talent out there. If you get to deeper benches, or 14-16 team leagues, he's probably worth the spot.People probably said the same thing about Dominic Rhodes a number of years ago when Edge went down. Sometimes you never know. The Addai owner in my league just picked him up today. I was surprised since we only have 5 bench spots. I think handcuffing is a waste of space for some RB's, especially with Keith Kenton - who is this guy? I can't justify giving a roster spot to such an unproven back up.Is this guy worth a roster spot just to handcuff Addai? True Indy's offense is unmatched but this guy is a 27 year old rookie. Exactly. I don't own Addai but picked him up as a RB #6.Kenton Keith should be on a roster in all but the most shallow leagues. Addai has never proven to be able to carry a full load. If he gets hurt, Keith would be a solid RB2, as would most reasonably talented RBs on teams with good offenses.
As an Addai owner Id rather have Jones on my roster than KeithUnofficial poll/hijack. Another owner in our league has T.Jones and Addai. I have T.Bell (he scooped me on Jones, I thought he would go a round later than he did). If it were you, would you consider a swap with Kieth, if I were to snag him off waivers?Just fishing, I guess.
I assume op meant K Jones. I'd rather have KJ than Keith. As an Addai owner Id rather have Jones on my roster than KeithUnofficial poll/hijack. Another owner in our league has T.Jones and Addai. I have seen many of his CFL games a few live as I live in Saskatchewan. This guy is a must have if you own Addai if he is still available, and depedning on leauge roster sizes he should find his way on many teams regardless.Wadsworth said:I'm amazed at how much people know about Keith's skill level. I didn't realize so many posters here followed the CFL and watched all the colts preseason games. Because to here some of you talk you've been following Keith for years.

Is Addai ruled out for tomorrow? Here's when the true test begins![]()
All indications are pointing to yes but I dont think it is official yet.Is Addai ruled out for tomorrow? Here's when the true test begins![]()
Was it just his opinion? Or did he get that from a team source did he say?john clayton reporting he is out.
my parents went to college with carrol o'connor.I am amazed at how Keith is being ignored, but Dorsey wasn't. I don't get why people would have had Dorsey before, but won't pick up Keith, who badly outplayed Dorsey in preseason. I am one who expects him to get more playing time than people think.I have him in a couple of leagues. I am very curious to see how the RB break down is going to translate in Indy. If Keith is the number 2 back and gets touches he could end up being unbeilevable value for a guy not being drafted in most leauges. People keep saying Keith is unproven but he did play at an elite level in the CFL. Now, I know it is the CFL, but he has been game planning and playing professional football the last 4 years. The guy ran extremely well in the CFL. In his 4 year career of rushing the ball in Saskatchewan he had 610 attempts for 3811 yards which works out to a ridiculous 6.2 ypc. He also added 126 receptions for 1178 yards. He had 22 TD's to 19 fumbles.
we already know that Dayne stinks . . . give KK a chance before you flush him . . .Is Kenton Keith a better play then say Ron Dayne this week ?
