Per Rotoworld...

Colts re-signed RB Luke Lawton on Tuesday.

Lawton was with the Colts for the first six games this season. Primarily a special teams player, but this could be a sign that Joseph Addai (neck sprain) is not 100%.

Anyone have any gamelogs or see if KKeith got more carries than normal last Thurs? Did Addai leave the game?

Addai did get hurt last game and Keith had 17 carries...His carries by game: 5, 1, 7, 10, 28, 15, 6, 4, 4, 2, 17...

Yes he did get hurt, but he came back in the game late in the fourth. I doubt it's serious, they were playing Atlanta, if they were worried the game was getting away from them he would have been back in. There just wasn't any reason to risk injuring it further.
 
Addai received sprained neck vs. Atl. He missed several series, but did return.

I know this is a huge game for the Colts, but I hope if Addai is iffy he sits out. I would hate to start him and have get hurt early.

Last game vs. Jax, Addai had just came back from missing a game & a bye week. Carries were split evenly - Addai 16/85 1 TD, Keith 15/56 0 TD.

Colts seem to be ulta sensative with their injuries, so who knows what will happen.

Me too, I'd rather they just sit Addai, I have Keith. Just lost benson too, and plan C Ricky williams is back on the WW

If Addai is limited bc of the neck injury, I think all owners that have both Keith & Addai hope Addai sits out. NO RBBC!
 
I realize nobody cares, but I played Keith in week 5 when he went off against the Addai owner. I play him again this week. I'd enjoy beating him in the same way.

 
They reported during the game that he was fully cleared to play, and he had some carries late in the game when there was no way he'd be in there if they were worried.

I don't see how Addai would be limited unless it was worse than originally thought or he aggravated it, which I've heard nothing about.

 
I would be surprised if Addai isn't 100%, starting at practice tomorrow. The hit didn't look that bad, and he did come back. Plus, that game was on Thanksgiving - lots of time to heal. Not as if the Colts don't need the game.

Hopefully Addai is fine, but the neck injury does scare me. Though I do not think the increase # of Keith's carries has anything to do with his performance. Over the course of the season, Addai has dominated the # of carries when healthy.

That is why the thread was started. The Colts added a RB to their roster and Roto World hinting that Addai might not be 100%. It was clear he was hurt last week and it was a neck sprain. It will be interested to see if he practices fully today.

Lawton has nothing to do with Addai's injury, and everything to do with special teams and blocking for 3rd and short and 4th and short situations.

Addai and Ugoh fully practiced on Wednesday. I expect both of them to play on Sunday, and play a "normal" amount of time.

One thing I did notice in that Indy game where Addai got hurt. When Addai was reported as "questionable" to return, Keith badly missed on a blitz pickup or two and Manning got his head about taken off. Shortly after, Addai was back in. So I can see where they worry about his blocking ability.

The more important the game, the more Addai plays (and the less Keith plays). This is by far the most important regular season game left for the Colts, so...

Joseph Addai is not on the Colts' Week 13 injury report.

He sprained his neck in Week 12, but was able to return to the game and will start Sunday versus Jacksonville. Addai totaled 107 yards on 20 touches but was held without a touchdown the last time he faced the Jaguars.

IIRC Addai split carries with Keith nearly 50/50 the last time they played JAX and that was also a week after the bye week.And then the week after vs CAR Keith got like 6 touches while Addai got the bulk scoring 3 TDs.

I think his point was, the Colt's playoff seeding wasn't nearly in as much peril then as it is now. Back then, they figured they could afford to let Addai rest a little. Since the Pats game, that is no longer the case. They need to win.

IIRC, Addai also wasn't fully healthy yet the last time they played the Jags.
