We just secured a deal to bring this to the Footballguys website. And of course it will all be sortable, etc. I hope to have done either tonight or early Saturday.

Will this be incorporated into the VBD spreadsheet?That's where it has the most value IMHO. I've built something to query from those websites but it's a pain to move to a new spreadsheet when new projections are released.

Where do we find it? In the Premium area? Or better yet, incorporated into the cheatsheet?PS Where do the ADPs in the Draft Dominator come from?
 
Yet, what once was intended as a "free" article by TBone, will now only be available to subscribers!Is that what TBone wanted?

 
TBone - you are a god. I draft tomorrow night, Monday night, and Thursday and this tool is excellent for use in my drafts with "non-sharks" to find where I should target my sleepers, and my players who I feel will be outstanding this year.

 
TBone, Have you tried adding your ADP rankings to the Draft Dominator yet? If you add the information to the AZ column of the VBD projections, in the form 01.01, and then import it into the Draft Dominator... the Best Value Pick will be partially based on this information. :cool:

Bruce,Actually I did try doing this and it was helpful. Although I didn't realize that Draft Dominator used ADP in the "Best Value Pick" calculations. I got the impression that the ADP info in Draft Dominator was just there as a reference. Thanks cool!
 
Seriously, it would be nice to have this pinned. Great thread and outstanding resource for folks with upcoming drafts.Seems like a no-brainer.

Bruce,I am interested in doing this as well but I'm confused as to why you would need to enter the data in the form of "round, then pick of round" in VBD sheet as opposed to a straight overall number. Since it is entered already in the VBD sheet as an overall number, doesn't it have to go through a behind the curtain conversion in the DD or does the entry only carry weight if it is entered in the round, pick in round form?Thanks and this app is worth the fee alone! :thumbup:

This tool is going to be a part of the Footballguys site. It should be posted there sometime today or tomorrow. However version 2.2 (posted here) will remain available.

It really helps!Also I messed around with the VBD AZ column and just entering overall numbers seem to convert to "round, pick of round" in DD but i didn't want to presume it would change the best value calculation without hearing directly from Bruce.

Glad both my drafts are this week...the update would have been nice, but it is just a guide anyway.I am glad it stayed free as long as it did. :ph34r:
 
The newest version (2.3) is now available in the Premium Area of Footballguys. It has the latest data and is fully sortable by any of the individual ADP sites, or by the site average.As mentioned on this thread, version 2.2 will continue to be available here on this thread for those without a Footballguys subscription.I've posted a link to the new version at the beginning of this thread.Thanks for all the input from everyone.And good luck with your drafts!!!

How could you possibly have a problem with this? It's doing nothing but making your life easier. T-Bone undoubtedly put in many hours to help morons like you -- show a little appreciation. He originally posted it just to be nice. I'm fairly certain he didn't send it in as a freelance article seeking payment. To be compensated a little after the fact is fine by me. Especially when he continually updates it to reflect changes such as Vick going down.If you used this tool at a draft, you'd realize how much it could help you build a nice team. This is just the type of stuff we all hang around here for and it has deservedly been promoted to the premium content.

T-bone's original stuff is still free. Plus, the FBG have made it easily sortable.

That's really not the point... It would have continued to be free if the guys werent being so greedy.... my point is that they shouldnt advertise this as a free forum, if the content is subject to be moved to the pay area based on its usefulness.

The information that T-Bone compiled is basically free info anyway, he just put it into a spreadsheet.... the FBG's saw the response it was getting and decided this was an easy way to milk some more cash out of more people.... its their website and their prerogative to do so..... Im just stating the fact that it goes against everything they have preached since the board went pay-per-view.

Will this be available this year for free or in the premium area. If so, if I were to plug these values into the DD in place of the ADP values that the program curerently uses, will the program spit out the right DVBD vaules? I'd be nice to rely on more of a crosssection of values like this has rather than just Antsports ADP values. Just wondering.
