How does league size change that ADP data?I understand scoring, but I never understood why league size matters.
It makes a huge difference. QBs and RBs go much earlier in 16 team leagues vs. 8 team leagues. In an 8 team league, the preferred strategy is to get studs at every position if possible. In a 16 team league, the supply and demand of starting RBs and QBs makes them come off the board much sooner.
This has been one of my pet peeves regarding this data. It would be great if there was a way to collect enough ADP information that when putting in your league settings into the DD, it actually spit out more intelligent ADP given the parameters. For example, you always need to factor that in and draft pass catching RBs (like Chris Perry or Marion Barber) much sooner in a 1 ppr league than the FBG ADP data will suggest. Or if you're in a league that gives 2 ppr to tight ends, will there ever be away to have the ADP automatically adjust for those variables? This would greatly increase the effectiveness of the DD.
I agree with what you are saying BUT that would make for guppies growing into Sharks WAY Before their time. Fine tuning of any list is a projection of stats for your leagues scoring and this is where
time and effort on sites like FBG help to fine tune your rankings..
