Advice on my first IDP team (1 Viewer)

First time caller ... Just found this forum today.

I just entered my first IDP league (yahoo). Here are my def players:

DL: Pierce, A. Davis, Briggs, Dansby, Brackett, Farrior, A. Thomas, J. Taylor

DB: Sanders, Bouleware, S. Taylor

We start 3DL, 3DB, and 3D.

The settings are :

Tackle Solo (2)

Tackle Assist (1)

Sack (5)

Interception (3)

Fumble Force (2)

Fumble Recovery (1)

Touchdown (6)

Safety (2)

Pass Defended (1)

Block Kick (2)

From my recent reading from this board, I would think that Kirk Morrison is going to be more productive than last year. I would think that he would be more consisten from week to week than J. Taylor. I was thinking of trading for him. I suppose that I could use Taylor off of the bench for when he is playing a team w/ a bad OL. But maybe I should have Morrison for consistency. I tried to offer Farrior but the other owner countered with Briggs. I figure I could maybe get him for Taylor since he is a big name.

What do you guys think??

Also should I try to dump Dansby with his possible career ending toe injury ?? Maybe trade him for a 4th DB since I only have 3 and would need to rotate someone in on bye weeks. Also, Rhodes is available on waivers. I would have to use an 8 out of 12 WW priority to get him.

Also, what do you guys think of my team so far??

Should I drop Dansby and his injured toe for Rhodes to use as my 4th CB ??

Should I offer Jason Taylor for Morrison ??

I dropped Dansby and was told it was a rash decision...

I'd offer Taylor if it points out in your favor.

I think Kirk Morrison would be in the mix to be your LB3 with Brackett and Briggs. And I'd strongly consider dropping Taylor for Rhodes even if you don't drop the backer.

I think it will point out in my favor since Taylor and Morrison are equal in points last year. So I figure that if Morrison will do better this year as MLB then he will put up better points.

Not sure I would drop Dansby to get Rhodes. If Rhodes is there and the trade to get Morrison falls apart I would drop Taylor and get Rhodes. That is a rough one - I look to Jene on this one.

The guy is a beast, he's in his 3rd year in that system and he no longer has the court case as a distraction. Taylor has all the physical tools to be the best safety in football now whether or not that translates into ff production remains to be seen. I'd have a hard time letting someone with his ability go.

Guys, Thanks for all of the help. I took Jene's advice and dropped S. Taylor for Rhodes early this morning. Should I go back and get S. Taylor and drop Boulware perhaps?? Who will be better this year Boulware (SS) or S. Taylor (FS) ??
