AFCC Game Thread: Patriots/Broncos - The Final Showdown (1 Viewer)

Sure seemed to me that Ryan made contact with Thomas before the ball arrived. Honest question (I don't get to see much football), is that really no longer consider PI? Or did the refs just miss it? Or am I seeing things that aren't there?

That being said, if DEN only gets 6 or 7 between the two possessions.....I'm still taking NE. They're too good to not make adjustments at the half.
no way. Pats o-line problems were apparent to anyone paying attention. This d-line is way too good. And with Brady playing like dog#### this game is over unless Denver completely implodes.

My take was it was a good no call -- Thomas needs to ####### catch --two big drops.

It's an 8 point game.

It's far from over.

Terrible half of football for the Pats and only down a score. It could be worse. They have to stop Denver on this possession after the half or it's going to get ugly.

Had the Steelers beaten the Broncos, the winner of this game would STILL have the most AFC championships. The Broncos, Patriots, and Steelers are all lumped together for most AFC Super Bowl appearances, and they were the final 3 teams still alive.

I think half of the first 50 super bowls have involved either the Steelers, Broncos, or Patriots. Pretty amazing.

Broncos 7 super bowl appearances Pats and Steelers 8

Something doesn't add up

Manning and Brady both look old. End of an era? I hope so - kind of tired of these guys every year. Though it is fun to see how skittish Brady gets when he takes hit. He's chucking and ducking. Big Ben he is not

Big Ben would have gotten hurt already with the hits Brady is taking. Ben might be tougher than Brady (or he might not be), but Brady is far more durable.

LMAO at everyone who thinks this game is over. Denver might win, but there isn't a head coach/QB duo in the history of the league as proven as Bill and Tom. They are down by one score. It's halftime. Far from over.

If the Broncos win, they would be at 8. They would have the most appearances (along with the Pats and Steelers).

Ben took quite a few hits last week as well and he definitely looked better than Brady has today against this same defense.

I doubt anyone with a clue thinks it is over.

Not with this game script. Pats needed to come out hot and take a big lead and put pressure on the Denver offense to make touchdowns. In my mind that's the only way the Pats could have won this game. I see Denver playing conservative in the second half, running the football effectively, with the occasional deep downfield pass to Sanders, and one of these will break. Denver goes up big and then the Pats spend a lot of time clawing their way back to go down by one score, and by then it's too late.

When Demaryius Thomas said his sister thinks she can be a better football player than him, she might be onto something.

Ben would definitely have a couple more miles on the medi cart after that first half.

Who's saying it's over?

I pretty much disagree with all of that

Dallas has 8 as well

As a Pats fan I can deal with them losing if they leave it all on the field but it looks to me like they are playing scared. Very upsetting. And yes I do give Denver credit but there is no excuse for the offense to play with so little passion.

Think you can sustain that erection through the second half?
