AFCC Game Thread: Patriots/Broncos - The Final Showdown (2 Viewers)

That being said, if DEN only gets 6 or 7 between the two possessions.....I'm still taking NE. They're too good to not make adjustments at the half.
no way. Pats o-line problems were apparent to anyone paying attention. This d-line is way too good. And with Brady playing like dog#### this game is over unless Denver completely implodes.
It's an 8 point game. It's far from over.
Not with this game script. Pats needed to come out hot and take a big lead and put pressure on the Denver offense to make touchdowns. In my mind that's the only way the Pats could have won this game. I see Denver playing conservative in the second half, running the football effectively, with the occasional deep downfield pass to Sanders, and one of these will break. Denver goes up big and then the Pats spend a lot of time clawing their way back to go down by one score, and by then it's too late.
That might be how it ends up playing out.....but I'm certainly not writing of BB or Brady when a game is a 1 score game. Turnover still changes the face of this game.

Had the Steelers beaten the Broncos, the winner of this game would STILL have the most AFC championships. The Broncos, Patriots, and Steelers are all lumped together for most AFC Super Bowl appearances, and they were the final 3 teams still alive.
Broncos 7 super bowl appearancesPats and Steelers 8

Something doesn't add up
If the Broncos win, they would be at 8. They would have the most appearances (along with the Pats and Steelers).
Dallas has 8 as well
CLE

DET

HOU

JAX

Still zero

Press coverage is the way to go for New England. Peyton's arm is too weak. Even that long completion was covered but the WR made a great play

Denver ran the ball great on that last drive. Oh wait...

Bad move trying to pass on 2nd down. Would've gone two straight runs there. Oh well. This series is big. Denver needs to shut down the Pats.

This even timeshare at RB crap needs to stop for Denver. They handicap themselves every time Hillman is out there. He can't break tackles or pass block. I can see occasionally using him, but CJ Anderson has proven all year, that when he's healthy he's twice the player Hillman is.

Quick poll:

Do you think Manning invites all of the neighborhood kids over for ping pong or does he just show up when he sees Kyler's garage door open?

FG....chipping away.

Patriots defense has looked stout for the most part. So have the Broncos.

Great game so far. I think Manning will show his age at some point. Tom will start showing it far more next season if he has another year of getting hit like this.

Brady's throws are off. If he doesn't throw it behind Amendola earlier he would have prolly ran it to the ten. Instead he got rocked

Gronk being on the sidelines is not a good sign. Hopefully he's just winded.
That is what it looked like me. The altitude may be getting to him a little bit more than others. He is a big guy running a lot.

edit/update

Hydration based

Denver fan here... have a bad feeling growing that Denver is going to have the all-too-often 2nd half swoon.... talk me out of it Broncs!
