that's cuz the sharps saw what was going on and all went big on Denver late. It was 80/20 yesterday, which is when I broke into my son's piggy bank.ESPN had an article saying as of Saturday the total money coming in was pretty balanced. MGM guy saying it was within 10k between the teams.True. 80/20 split and the line NEVER MOVED. Folks, if you ever see this happen again (and you probably won't) bet the farm on the other team.Yep heard 5x as much action came in on the Pats this weekend. This will be a day not long forgotten in Vegas lore. Sharps made a KILLING.
It's tough to win on the road when almost all your playoff games are at home.Game not really even close despite score.pats havent won a postseason road game since 2006 , 10 years running.

When Brady leads your team in rushing you will not win. Pats once again show their soft side..
And I counted at least 7 intentional grounding plays by Brady am I right?
You cant throw the ball in the ground just because you're about to be sacked.
Pats got punked once again. This just in..Brady NOT the best postseason QB of all time.
This. I was fully expecting Brady and the Pats to convert on 4th down every time they tried. As far as BB not kicking FGs, it looks bad now but it could just have easily backfired. If DEN had gotten one more first down in either of two possessions, the game would have been over and people would have wondered how you kick a FG when you need a TD to tie.
This just in..Brady NOT the best postseason QB of all time.
Four losses in conference championship games, he's the worst!I thought BB definitely made the right decision the first time. The second one was closer IMO. Denver manages their offense differently if you kick the FG in either spot, so the game doesn't necessarily play out the same way.As far as BB not kicking FGs, it looks bad now but it could just have easily backfired. If DEN had gotten one more first down in either of two possessions, the game would have been over and people would have wondered how you kick a FG when you need a TD to tie.
Thanks for the warm up New England. Now get out of our stadium. The revenge tour stops here.
The O line was getting beaten pretty much every play. New England was fortunate to be able to move the ball at all. It took some insane plays. Getting the ball back and scoring was hardly a given. There was obviously plenty of time to take the FG then get the ball back and score. Game over. It's not moronic. It's aggressive.Completely moronic but won't get called on it cause he's BB.In all my years of watching football, not kicking a FG either time was one of the greatest mistakes I have seen by a head coach and made by one of the greatest coaches of all time. Just goes to show you that nobody is perfect. What a great game to watch. It would be nice to see Manning end on a high note.
I did notice the intentional grounding. Every time he was under pressure. It was ridiculous.Game not really even close despite score.pats havent won a postseason road game since 2006 , 10 years running.

Earl Morrall went to the Super Bowl twice with the Colts and twice with the Dolphins, but he was a backup two of those years. So Peyton has taken 2 different teams to the super bowl twice, am I right?
Has a QB ever done that?
It's not grounding if there is a receiver in the area. Just because the ball goes into the ground does not mean it's grounding.I did notice the intentional grounding. I disagree. Denver manages their offense the EXACT same way if you kick the second FG to make it 20-15 with 2:30 left and NE with all three TOs. I typically like BB's aggressiveness and had absolutely no problem with BB's 4th and 2 call in 2006 but I just thought NE's best chance to win today was to do so in regulation and for that they required a FGI thought BB definitely made the right decision the first time. The second one was closer IMO. Denver manages their offense differently if you kick the FG in either spot, so the game doesn't necessarily play out the same way.As far as BB not kicking FGs, it looks bad now but it could just have easily backfired. Not to mention, I'd say key calls went NE way --I'm not sure what the Pats fans were saying earlier in this thread, because I'm hammered and didn't read it all, but I remember during the season most of them said Denver couldn't win if:
A) The Pats had their WRs healthy (specifically Edleman) - check
B) Gronk played a full game: check
C) Osweiler didn't play, since most said Peyton not playing was actually an upgrade: check
D) Denver's defense couldn't stop the Pat's passing game: check
I'm glad everyone was healthy, and it was a great game. I hope there are no excuses, since when the Pats beat Denver in the past there were none, either. Denver is a better team this year.
Isn't it more fun when you're rooting hard for a team in the superbowl?Thankfully I don't have to root against a team in the super bowl this year with the pats eliminated
You can still root for your squares' numbers or your postseason fantasy players!Isn't it more fun when you're rooting hard for a team in the superbowl?Thankfully I don't have to root against a team in the super bowl this year with the pats eliminated
Correct. The main reason the Broncos were so conservative on their subsequent possession was because they didn't go for the FG. If they did, it wouldn't have been as easy a 3 and out. You can say going for it on 4th gave them the next possession with much more time on the clock, which they would have needed anyway with the FG.As far as BB not kicking FGs, it looks bad now but it could just have easily backfired. If DEN had gotten one more first down in either of two possessions, the game would have been over and people would have wondered how you kick a FG when you need a TD to tie.
delusional to think the pats win todays game by more then 3? Most neutral fans were surprised the line opened so low. Would have worked out alot better that the arrogant BB always go for it.The O line was getting beaten pretty much every play. New England was fortunate to be able to move the ball at all. It took some insane plays. Getting the ball back and scoring was hardly a given. There was obviously plenty of time to take the FG then get the ball back and score. Game over. It's not moronic. Everyone is talking about BB and the FG, but I think the biggest eye opener from me is that he refused to help his tackles the entire game. He was so sure that his passing attack could beat Denver's D, and he was wrong. Brady paid for it, big time. I've watched Denver all year, and the Pats might be the only team that didn't help consistently when the QB was getting tenderized.I disagree. Denver manages their offense the EXACT same way if you kick the second FG to make it 20-15 with 2:30 left and NE with all three TOs. Either way. Congrats Broncos fans...manning made the plays early and the defense made them early AND late
Low? Opened vs either Az or Car as 2 pt dogsAs happy as I am for Manning, tomorrow's line is going to be Denver + 6.5 or something like that, right?
Wasn't it only 2? XP one doesn't count.Yeah this game is what everyone will remember. Lol.Gonna hurt TB's legacy --3 picks -
What a game. Both teams did a lot right and a lot wrong; it was like a prize fight. That is what championship football games should always be like. Mad props to Brady, Belichick, Manning, Kubiak and especially that Broncos D. Fantastic!
Exactly. And the way the game played out, they would have never needed a TD. Overly agressivenss on an offense that wasn't able to move the ball after the D made second half adjustmentsI disagree. it was delusional to think the pats should have been favored by that much. And that has next to nothing to do with thinking the pats could win by more than a field goal. Lines are about probabilities, not possibilities. You are clearly incapable of being impartial as you hate the Patriots. You don't "take out home field" and adjust the line.
