After NE watches the tape for this MNF game, they are going to be licking their chops big time. question is, who thinks that wade phillips and romo can settle down on a short week and prepare for the pats? it looked like a possible preview of the superbowl...now, not so much. I mean after tonight... Do we dare bench baby farve?

The man has 1500 yards in 5 games. Last night was an aberration, not a trend.
I remember Favre throwing 6 picks in a game....pretty sure P Manning has had 4 or more turnovers in a game....Brady has thrown 4 picks before......everyone has bad games. But as Judge Smails indicates, if you want your QB to put up monster stats, that QB needs to be throwing the ball down the field....which can end up in INTs.Romo is higher risk than most QBs, but VERY high reward.Romo scored 15 for me despite 6 turnovers.....one point more than Roethlisberger, who had 200 yds passing, 1 TD and no turnovers.....for 14 pts. And if 15 points is a clunker game for Romo, the sky is the limit. This was a classic trap game......DAL was clearly looking past that game and it almost cost them a win.
He made some terrible throws, let the insane crowd and worsening circumstances get in his head. It happens. Why would anyone bench him? I'm seeing some people say his career is going to spiral downward now. Are you f'ing kidding me?
Kitna @ WAS last week?McNabb vs. NYG week 4?Hass @ PIT?Brees vs. CAR?VY vs. ATL?Cutler vs. SD?^ There's a bunch of 'top 15' qbs who had rough weeks.Your argument might have merit talking about NFL (playoff) football, but that's yet to be seen. He had his team lined up to win @ SEA on the road in his first (partial) year of starting - only to muff the FG attempt. In the world of FF, Romo is looking damn good so far.
