Ahmad Bradshaw (knee, foot) has been ruled out (1 Viewer)

Ahmad Bradshaw (knee, foot) has been ruled out for Week 15 at Atlanta. It's hardly surprising news, as the signs had been increasingly pointing toward rookie David Wilson making his first start with Kregg Lumpkin chipping in on passing downs. As we've opined several times throughout the week, the explosive Wilson is a legit RB1 option against a Falcons defense allowing the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing backs.

As someone who owns both Ahmad and Wilson.... :headbang: :pickle: :excited: :banned: This is great news for fantasy owners.
As someone who owns Wilson and is facing the Bradshaw owner, I doubly concur! Now, what are people's predictions for Wilson? Will he get 20 carries, or do they try to ease him into the starting role?

Dont they have Ryan Torain ?? I know they signed someone last week. Not saying that person is getting any carries , just curious.

Nice thing here is that the Giants have an explosive passing game to help take pressure off, not likely to see too many 8 men in the box formations like Bryce Brown has been seeing.

Wow, going to be hard to start Steven Jackson and his 10-15 PPR fantasy points over the kid.
Agreed, especially considering Wilson might get that in a half.......I have the same two in a PPR. I would easily start Wilson over S. Jax, my problem comes in the form of can I start Wilson over CJ Spiller.........

No way I'd start him over Spiller. Although I don't own Spiller, I'd trust the track record.

Need to start him over Ridley or McFadden. Ridley's matchup stinks vs, San Fran, but he's been money all year. And McFadden, nice matchup vs. KC, but has been very underwhelming. Not sure what I will be doing.

So, how far up your rankings is he going? I'm thinking of starting him over both Gore and Ridley.
Im starting him over Gore.
Wow, really? I can't see doing that. I'm holding him out in another league for CJ2K and Marshawn (well duh). 2k has a sweet matchup and he literally gets 95% of the carries so no committee threat. I wouldn't put anyone not named Peterson in over Marshawn this week.

Plenty of rankings have him above Gore. I hate the NE matchup for the 49ers, I expect the 49ers to be playing from behind trying to pass to keep up. NE ranks 10th in allowing points to RBs, while ATL is 26th..... Wilson by far has the better matchup.

Yes!!! That Wilson pickup looks like it could be the difference between a championship or not.
Slow down there Tex. He looked great at home vs. one of the worst defenses in the league but let's not rush to anoint and/or crown his ### just yet. That being said he will probably be in my starting lineup over Garcon.

Jeebus Crist

My Demarco, CJ2K, Wilson decision is killing me,.

Right now gotta go Wilson and CJ2K (even though I hate him)

I've been agonizing over Spiller vs. Moreno, and now Wilson's in the mix as well. :loco:

You have to go with Wilson. He is a top 15 RB this week

I'm starting Wilson (with Martin) over Moreno and Spiller.
Same boat here. I can't get past that stat line Moreno put up last week. I know it was against the Raiders, but the Ravens are a MASH unit right now as well. Can't shake the vision of Wilson fumbling in the first quarter and getting yanked, even though their other options aren't much. Not crazy about Spiller vs. a desperate Seahawks team.

You don't think Moreno or Spiller will be top 15 this week? FBG has them 12 and 7.

And spiller is easily top 10

wilson over alfred Morris. worried no RG3 and will see 8 in the box all day long. but than again, morris will be THE OFFENSE. so back and forth.

Ill be starting him but not expecting the world, a nice solid game will be nice. The Bryce Brown experiment has given a dose of reality to backs that have a big game with no track record.

Wilson should see all the carries that AB was getting, which should be in the 20 carry range. Whether he gets more will be determined on how the game is going. If the Giants are trailing, we expect less running.

Torain or Lumpkin will get 5-7 carries total between them.

The biggest question is who gets the goal line carries. Is it Torain/Lumpkin or will Wilson get those too?

I have Wilson, Ridley, and McFadden and I have to choose 2 of them. Ridley with a tough match up or RUN DMC vs KC? Whoever I bench I expect to score 2 TD's and have 100yds.

Not sure why you consider Seattle desperate, they control their own destiny. I would be a bit hesitant about Spiller too but Seattle has given up big numbers to RBs in their last two road games (Mia & Chi) and Spiller is getting all the touches for Buf. Not sure how he can be benched with the workload he is expecting.I don't think Wilson gets benched for a single fumble at this point, the Giants need him desperately at this point and I seriously doubt they would hand over the keys to Torain unless absolutely necessary. Now if Wilson starts giving up big hits on Manning I could see it happen but, IMO, one fumble won't end his day.Moreno is a tough call. Of your three options he is the most likely to get 20+ touches but he is also the most pedestrian runner and he is coming off a career game. I agree that the Ravens defense is hurting but, apart from Arian Foster, they haven't really given up big numbers (at home or on the road) to RBs since Ray Lewis got hurt.

This kind of analysis is why I've been a member here for 10 years. Appreciate the feedback.

Lumpkin will be third down back and rb in obvious passing situations. I would expect 15 - 18 carries and 2 or 3 screen passes for Wilson's workload. No idea who would be short yardage back but my feel is it would not be Wilson in a close game. Wilson can do a lot with this workload and with his speed has tremendous upside. l would flex him for sure and play him over rbs like ridley, leshoure, turner, ballard and bush.

Facing the bradshaw owner this week for championship and can't believe they didn't prioritize wilson on the WW. I drafted him, dropped him, and then picked him up again this week.

Trying to decide what to do. In hindsight I wish I put Wilson in for Brown. Trying to decide between JCharles, TRich, and DWilson.
Charles is a know commodity and has a great matchup. As god as Wilson can be, he has never started in the NFL. He is a more boom or bust player this week. Charles vs the Raiders is too good to pass up, in my opinion. Especially in he FF playoffs.

Moreno or Wilson... hmmmm... god I wish I could go back in time and bench Bryce Brown! :{
