I'm on the verge of cutting him... I was tempted to do it last week for Michael Boley and well I didn't... then someone else picked him up. It seems as long as Barnett is healthy and playing Hawk is not going to do a whole lot but get a handful of tackles. No big play... no stuffs, no ints, PD, FF, FR.

I was really excited to get Hawk in our auction this year for $1 expecting a 2nd year leap. Unfortunately, I dealt with the same mediocre tackle numbers and absence of big plays from him until last week when I reluctantly dropped him for Bulluck.We have a keeper league and I was looking forward to Hawk anchoring my defense for years to come, but it was time to cut bait.

I'm not lucky enough for Bullock to be on my WW. It's especially hurts because I lost Poz a few weeks ago too... and DJ Williams is well.. LB is a trouble position for me right now.

How did you lose DJ? Trade?Unless they move him from the MIKE (quite possible), he'll help you.

This is the bye week for Denver. From watching a few of their games... and the rumors... I think Williams at MLB is on borrowed time. I'm expecting if they are going to change.. it's going to come after the bye.

shanny will never let it out, but wouldn't this bye for the broncos be a great time to experiment moving DJ back to SLB and nate to MLB?

You guys do know that Barnett played in all but one game last year, and that Hawk 84-37-3.5 posted last year...right?? If you're going to cut Hawk, base the cut on Hawk's performance thus far in '07. Do not base the cut on Barnett's presence.

On the contrary, Barnett was not healthy for much of last season and the Packers DT play was piss poor. You cannot dismiss mitigating factors when evaluating a players performance.
