Alexander IS still beat up (1 Viewer)

That's very strange that he'd be complaining about his ankle when his injury was to a bone on the top of his foot.
The higher side of the foot arch is considered part of the ankle.Example: a subtalar dislocation is an injury to the top of the arch (appears to be the middle of the foot), but it is officially an "ankle" injury.
Well, techno jargon aside, I have never heard anyone anywhere at any time call it an ankle injury until that post. And I follow the Seahawks very closely. It's always been foot, even when SA hisself talked about it. So I would be very surprised if Shaun said his ankle was still bothering him when he has never publicly referred to his foot injury an ankle injury.

My best friend's cousin's mother's babysitter's mailman's brother-in-law's wife's gardener's nephew saw Sean Alexander pass out at 31 flavors last night. I swear.

SA himself told the media his foot was still bothering him in June. The media ran with it like a wild goose chase. LOL Guess what, I was drafting in June and he fell to 19th. He also got traded for Caddlac Williams in another league during this 2 week period.

Then he came out and told the media he was only jokeing. What a joke.

Or was it a joke after all? Guess time will tell.

Favre, Thank you for the information. Years ago when board members came to this board with this kind of information it was greatly appreciated by most. Now with so many .............. on this board - you destroy anybody from wanting to give ANY insight/info.

Again...thank you for this info.
Agreed. He started the whole thing off with "If you don't like info from 3rd parties don't bother reading any further".I don't understand why everyone needs to try to discredit a post where the guy basically states - you might not like this but...

I find it funny that people jump in to discredit your post with no more proof that it is wrong than you did that it is correct.

Some of us appreciate these posts and can usually determine what might have merit and what might not. I would hate to see a person have something to share but decide the forum ridicule isn't worth sharing it. Believe it or not - not all information has a link ... some people still actually talk and observe. Just because it never happens to you doesn't mean it never happens.

Now I'm off to try to determine if there is fire with this smoke.....

I'm sure there are guys in my league that visit the board but none of them know my user name and I don't post enough for anyone to catch on...or so I think. With that said I stand by my comments. Sometimes you just have to take the info in and make your own decision. I would never use this board to mislead anyone. I had a decision to make...keep the info to myself or take a beating by not being able to verify. I chose the latter and if it helps one person it was worth it. If I am wrong it won't be the first or last time and I apologize.
he has been here since 2003. I passed on him anyway. (trading 1.5 , 2.9 and 4.9, for 1.8, 2.5 , 4.5 and 200 FA pts (each em gets 200 in blind bids) and took westy at 1.8

Yeah, anyone who thinks Alexander is bouncing back in a big way this year will be disappointed. Alexander is over the hill when it comes to RB's and is just coming off a bad foot injury.
The age argument would have stopped you from drafting Tiki just around the time he took off (he's two years plus a few month older than Alexander)

I've had an e-friend since 97 who is the most rabid Seahawks fan I know. He is over the top. The Seattle Seahawks are his life. He needs to get a life really, but he's as close to the organization as you can be as an outsider with a press credential. He is also a terminally pessimistic person. I clearly remember him being utterly disgusted with the Walter Jones draft pick. It's always that way with him. He loves the team. He thinks and expects the worst year after year. He tells me Alexander is in 05 form, lookin' racy, fully recovered, and even catching a lot of balls. For him to be positive is a little strange, but he thinks Alexander will have a great season; "his best season" to quote the friend.

My brother-in-law's, friend from high school has this second cousin that used to date LT's sister's best friend, and she said that LT is using Lotrimin for his jock itch, and it could limit his cutback ability.I'm taking Turner over LT now. YMMV.
Is it just Lotrimin, or Lotrimin Ultra? I've had some nasty chapped balls before, and Lotrimin Ultra will clear that #### up well before the season starts!

If you don't like info from 3rd parties don't bother reading any further. This is for people who want to know everything they can regardless if it can be verified...especially if you are drafting in the mid-first where I am and Alexander seems to be going. Alexander claims he is still sore and doesn't think he will make it thru the season. This makes sense to me based on some of his comments earlier about his ankle not being healed yet...tongue and cheek or not it's enough to let Alexander pass by me at 8 or 9. Take it for what it's worth. It may not be worth anything to you but for me I know this guy wouldn't lie and he seems to know Alexander pretty good seeing him once a week or so. Please don't shoot the messanger I am just passing along info in order to help you make the best decision you can with all the drafts just around the corner.
