I'm not too concerned...yet. The velocity was down a bit, but that will come back. Would like to see improved control over the next few games though. Not an awful first game, but clearly nothing great either.

It's all about his slider. If his he can throw his slider and get it going... watch out. But IMO i doubt if he's going to be using it too much so i'd temper my expectations for him this year.
