So I'm rolling with Alshon Jeffrey or Tyler Eifert.

Jeffrey's probably the superior matchup play (hosting the injury riddled Packers secondary), although Eifert's is above average (hosting the Steelers).

From the standpoint of knowing a little better what you're gonna get, though, Eifert has scored four TDs over the past three weeks; Jeffrey has just returned from suspension, having not played all that much with Matt Barkley.

Am I correct in assessing Eifert as having a higher floor, versus Jeffrey as the "boom or bust" play? They seem comparable in terms of flex options, unless I'm missing something.

I would say that Eifert has the higher floor and Jeffrey the highest ceiling but a huge risk.  He hasn't had any game reps with Barkley and the weather is supposed to be sub zero.  I think either way I would roll with Eifert this week.

I'd go Eifert unless you are projected to lose by a ton and need a huge upside risky play.

I'm assuming this a league where WR/TE is a position, because there isn't a TE I'd start over Eifert this week. Wouldn't start Jeffery over him either.

Im starting guys ranked way lower than Eifert over Alshon-- how can you trust him? He's stunk all year
