Am I going to be ok for the rest of the season? *UPDATED QUESTION* (1 Viewer)

I have 17 saves this season, and the leader of my 10 person league has 27... I am in 9th place, but leading the whole league by 8 points today.

I dont know what to expect from these guys, I am happy with Saito and Putz with there numbers, but to get a save, requires the team they play on to WIN, and I dont see a lot of that in these guys so far this season.

I am getting random trade offers for some of my hitters, mainly asking for my boy Chone Figgins, but I am just not ready to give up Chone and Putz for a piece of chicken a top CURRENT closer... thoughts?

Came back at me with this:

AJ Pierzynski & Furcal

For

Max Scherzer & Joe Mauer

Thoughts...

***my Hitters if you needed to know:

AJ Pierzynski

Ryan Howard

Chone Figgins

ARod

Carlos Guillen

Kevin Youkilis

Josh Hamilton

Nick Markakis

Nate McLouth

Rafael Furcal

BN Brian Roberts

BN Pat Burrell

good news about saito, the NL west sucks, which should lead to close games, which should lead to save ops

saito should be good for 35 more saves this year

My big worry is Putz...my league can only start two RP each day, so no way to pick up 5 of them to try to catch up in a week or two

damn dude, your team sounds almost exactly like one of mine.

One league I draft 4 closers. Saito, Putz, Soriano and CJ Wilson. Soriano got hurt and I subsequently dropped him...and Wilson started out okay, but has gotten pretty bad so I dropped him too. Now I am RELYING on Saito and Putz to get me saves as I'm currently 9th out of 10 and about 9 points out of first. After the draft, I thought for sure I would be top 2 in saves.

By the way, do not trade Figgins and Putz for a new closer. Figgins, when healthy, is a bonafide stud (he is on all three of my fantasy teams this year, and is not on the blocks)

Even the worst teams win 60 games. The Mariners are bad but I can see them winning 70. Putz could easily close 30 of those games. Dont worry too much about Putz. You might not win in saves with those 2 however but you should be competitive. Keep scouring the waiver wire for saves when they become available. Then again I just traded Marcum straight up for Putz so I may be biased.

I'd sit tight. Saito and Putz are two of the best. Saves come in bunches and they'll both get theirs.

Even more creepy.... i had Willison for awhile too, and dropped him when Gallardo came off the DL...yeah, i dont want to come in first in saves, but anything bellow 5th will piss me off

I am doing pretty good in wins, and want some extra K's...

and i guess i can find a home for my SS to be Guillen... just didnt know if i am giving up to much to get a little better in K's and ERA
