Has anyone else noticed the weird "electronic" sound that permeates the show? It's almost like a guy playing one of those old Mattel sports games. It kept happening over and over again, as the audience is clapping.... it's like they just throw random songs/sounds/camera shots in there for no reason whatsoever.

I went to a taping and there is no doubt that everything sounds better live than on TV. The audio for AGT absolutely sucks on our tv. It was so bad we thought there was something wrong with our home theater so I tried it on another tv in the house and it was just as bad.

Already had something similar on the American version a year or two ago didn't they?

And after seeing the one dog act that won Britains the one year its hard to take them seriously.

I don't really watch this show but turned it on for a second last night and caught this act. According to Howie and Mel, these guys were awesome and they used some special buzzer to advance them.

Am I missing something here? How was this any good?

I thought they were funnier before they did their act.. Some what funny, but much better acts have not been put through before..

Saying that...The producers know they are very popular on youtube, and with the tie in of having people submit their youtube auditions in for a final judgement show, it was almost guaranteed they would go through.

Yeah, agree with the mostly lame comment. I like the aerial animation chick as well, along with the hand balancing dude.

The comic, as Howie calls him, is terrible. The gay skater's schtick got old after the first two minutes..and that was weeks ago.
