Ana Kasparian is done with the entire Democratic party (1 Viewer)

Biden opened up the border, left Americans in Afghanistan, colluded with Big Tech to silence political opponents, spent Trillions and got historically high inflation, and supports abortion up to the moment of birth. And he's a moderate Dem?
Please stop spreading lies.

Putting this disinformation out there is what is wrong with our country.

No stretches in reality here at all.  Come on man.

I didn’t know who either of these people were until googling them just now

Cenk Uygur had an MSNBC show for a short while in 2011 which wasn't that bad. I have seen The Young Turks on YouTube video clips but not probably in last 5 years. I do remember he had a female co-host who I found rather obnoxious so I didn't remember her name but that apparently was Ana.

Good riddance. The Democrats need to decide: are they going to be a centrist liberal party? Or are they going to be socialists? If it’s the latter then look for Republicans to continue to win elections.

I agree and take The Squad with her.  Lets get back to being a Centrist Liberal party. Progressive party should be a stand alone party like the Green Party and Libertarian.

Oh, on the thread topic, never heard of her either.
Yep, never heard of her either.

I’ve seen a few clips of the Young Turks, but I would only recognize the main guy. I don’t know his name.

Seems like a real lack of awareness to assume this lady is influential.

Not bad looking if you can get past the hate and extremism.

That would be tough, though.

This is what I mean by centrist liberal- be as liberal and woke as you want on cultural issues. Pro-choice, pro-trans, pro-woke: the conservatives are wrong on these issues, and eventually they’re going to lose.

But on business issues recognize that capitalism works. That doesn’t mean you have to support a hands off approach: sometimes tinkering is important to help the less fortunate, or necessary to deal with pressing issues like climate change. But free enterprise has to remain at the foundation.

This seems to be an increasingly common story.  That would seem to indicate that something in our society isn't working properly.
The percentage of jobs that offer a retirement plan of some sort is much lower than when our parents worked.  The money I set aside for retirement is getting destroyed by the economy.  It’s trending the wrong way at 58.

I think the problem that a lot of progressives have is that capitalism is failing at in increasing rate, in part because government has rigged the game largely in favor of the rich.

Kind of the point I was getting at.  For the past 50+ years, retirement has become increasingly a dream, and we can't pretend that's due to liberal policies.  Our economic policies over that time period have entirely moved in a regressive direction.  Pensions?  Disappearing.  Taxes?  Increasingly regressive.  Health care?  Increasingly regressive.  Corporate welfare?  Increasing.  Fiscal policies have increasingly favored the wealthy and the result is entirely predictable.

Or, maybe you’re just spouting lies.
I mean there's literally a thread here on each of those if you don't want to venture outside your bubble and investigate.

The abortion one I can sort of understand because it' a fairly new stance. But there's no excuse to be this uninformed about the rest. The border? Afghanistan? Really? These are "spouting lies"?  Good lord even CNN is reporting on these.

So....dozer is calling YOU a liar?

It’s your interpretation of those events that he’s calling false.
For example, you stated that Biden’s policy with regard to the border has been a disaster. Not to me it hasn’t. Your position on this is hardly objective and it’s not fact based.

Yes, they are stories. And they deserve harsh criticism. But your post that got this back and forth started is BS.

Show me the easy to find proof that Joe Biden thinks a lady that is due to give birth tomorrow should be able get an abortion today. Show one link where Joe Biden has said he is for “open borders.”

No Tim, I'm spouting lies! The border is secure and we did not leave Americans in Afghanistan. Biden is a moderate and supporting abortion up to the moment of birth is a moderate position. There is no inflation. All lies!

You:

US Customs and Border Protection

Border Security

CBP’s top priority is to keep terrorists and their weapons from entering the U.S. while welcoming all legitimate travelers and commerce. CBP officers and agents enforce all applicable U.S. laws, including against illegal immigration, narcotics smuggling and illegal importation. CBP deploys highly trained law enforcement personnel who  apprehend more than 1,000 individuals each day for suspected violations of U.S. laws. And let me make this perfectly clear, even though we have done a lousy job with the border, as policy, we are 100% against open borders. Duh.

Yeah, you have no idea who she is.  Okay.

Not buying it.

I said in an earlier post (see above) that you didn't bother to read:

Yep, that was the "progressive " Ana.    And I agree she was annoying. Looks like she is trying to change though.
