Anarchy Opens His Concert Vault Again: Led Zeppelin (1 Viewer)

Got mine today - pleasantly surprised to find a show from the Hampton Coliseum.  Never saw Led Zeppelin there, but that is where I saw most concerts in the 80's.

Doc Holiday needs to check his PM's. Anyone else that wants in, I'm putting together the last batch and sending them out tomorrow. Consider this LAST CALL to those late to the party if anyone new wants to jump in at the last minute.

I would love to get in if there's still a chance  Thank you!

Never got to see them live.  Almost did in 1980.  I was 16 and finally able to drive.  Tickets went on sale by mail only.  Used Fed-ex for the first time to ensure my order was there in 1 day before sellout.  You probably know the rest.  John Bonham died and the tour was cancelled.

Just saw this, if there is a shot to get in I'm IN.

Saw Plant a few years ago and was just great, love the professionalism of their shows. He & Page look like they're 400 years old but still bring it, very cool group.

I'm older than you therefore I've listened to Led Zeppein longer than you so I have a much deeper appreciation for them than you therefore if there is anyone in this thread that shouldn't be "IN" I'd argue it would be you GB. Skedaddle now youngen

Seriously generous offer David, much appreciated.

Hopefully those getting this great package are sending something back your way as a way to say thanks.

I would strongly encourage anyone who has the financial ability to kick a little something to David via his Paypal address. I haven't seen him ask for anything so I'll ask for him, as his time, materials, and ridiculously wealthy collection of music should be worth something to those of us who don't have to do anything but check our mailboxes :P

I should probably be posting this in the Products I believe in thread,  I have only had time to listen to a few hours and have to say this is an amazing collection.  Thanks for all your hard work!!

Really good stuff.

I had some Zeppelin albums already - no bootlegs though, the combined total is 1581 songs, 9.2 days worth on iTunes.  So I have not gotten to much of it.  I have listened to most of the Hampton Coliseum show, 1971, only because I grew up going to concerts there.

I did create a playlist of about 30 songs taken from a variety of shows and time periods to kind of get a good flavor of the entirety of the collection.  That is a 4-hour set.

I am a fan of the 1972 Los Angeles show - as that was the bulk of How The West Was Won.  I also liked a lot of the Page/Plant shows, a bit more mature, which is probably more down to my age than anything.

Not many versions of When the Levee Breaks - I don't think I realized how rare that was live.  For my playlist, I actually use one from the Plant show in Nashville 2005.

I enjoy the version of Levee from the Rock HOF Induction show from the 90's with Neil Young. But you are correct that it was not played often.

Back when it happened, I was surprised how they started their one of London show. They rarely played Good Times, Bad Times, they had never played a full version of Ramble On, and they had never played For Your Life ever before.

If I had a LZ complaint, it's that they didn't rotate enough of their songs on their tours. The 75 and 77 shows are pretty similar in terms of song selections. Great to listen to and with some tremendous sound quality, but drawn from a similar core of songs.

When you have listened to some of the stuff for years, the Page & Plant or just Plant versions of songs is a refreshing diversion.

Given that I LOVE The Lemon Somg, I was overjoyed to see that Plant added that into his rotation recently.
