But spending days and days on what college guys run the fastest and run circles around cones is worthwhile news?You can add up all the rookies together talked about on these boards the last 2 weeks and they all will come up short to what Brett Farve means to Green Bay fans and what he's accomplished in the NFL.

Dude! This is one of the greatest football players to ever play. So his retirement is a big news story, at least in the realm of sports. So they (media) are obviously going to give him a lot of accolades and attention. Did you expect this story to simply be a running thread on the bottom line, a footnote so to speak..... :X
