Why was he banned? Was it just for a multitude of reasons, or was there a specific incident?

He asked to be banned because he can't stop himself from going on the site. Certainly it's not like his drinking where he can quit if he wants to.

Why do you have to ask a website to block your IP? Can't you just walk away? Is he so addicted to this place that he needed to be blocked so that he could never come back?

In his own words, this was precisely the problem. He was addicted to many things--drugs, sex, booze, footballguys, etc
