I know the popular start this week is going to be Pittman...and I agree he is the best Den RB to start this week, but now that Hall and Young aren't splitting every fifth carry...does anyone think Hall might be in line for 15 carries this week? He could be a decent start for someone (cough) who has bye week issues this week.

Just wondering what the sharks think. Seems like a decent fill in if you're in trouble.

If you're really desperate. Like starting Rudi vs. MN or Benson @ the Jets desperate.

The way Cutler is airing it out, and the red zone (and likely more in this scenario) work going to Pittman, it's a big gamble - especially if you're just trying to add SY's #s to Hall. I could see DEN running less and giving Pittman more carries. If you can live w/ about 50 yds (possible ceiling w/ Hall), doubtful TD(s), and not much help in PPR, then OK.

I don't know. I certainly don't have the stones to do it, but I do not in any way believe that 50 yards is a ceiling for Hall. He's shown in limited work that he can get the job done, and with a rainy forecast and potential grind-it-out battle against the Jags... a decent day of 70 and a touch isn't out of the question.I wouldn't want him anywhere near my RB2 spot, but I can think of worse options for a gambling man. ( Like, MegaBall lottery gambling ).

Well, for me, it's Andre Hall or Cedric Benson this week. Both are unlikely to produce much. Hall figures to get between the 20's carries and Benson may get some GL looks. So, I guess he's probably the better play. Sad that I have to make these choices.

I think pITTMAN IS A MUCH BETTER PLAY. hE RUNS HARD AND HAS EXPERIENCE...AND GETS THE GOAL LINE TOUCHES.

In regards to the second fumble it appeared that the D lineman breathed really hard on Hall and he fumbled.

Come on; he's not finished as an NFL player. But he will likely be fourth on the depth chart after Pittman and the Selvin/Torrain combo. If he gets cut in the off-season, there will be room on teams for a young player who has shown he can play well at this level and plays ST.
