I have tried uninstalling both swype and the swype installer and then bringing them both back in, no luck after doing this twice. I can set swype to be my default but it only works as a keyboard, one letter at a time, and does not recognize my attempt to swype a word.When I got the update the other day, somebody called me while it was installing, screwing up the install, and I got nothing but force stops when it tried to load the OS. I had to do a hard reset.
That isn't the problem. The problem is I lost my Swype!I tried re-installing it, but it won't take over as my method of text input. (Yes, the box is checked)
Any ideas? I sure hope so, cuz I'm hating typing anything on the standard input.

After a hard reset my phone is as good as new. The last update was tough on my Droid. Only thing i lost was old text messages. I didn't backup anything all my apps slowly came back. I might do a reset every few months it was painless.
Big test will be to see how battery life is going to be today.

I tried the two links but it couldn't find it in the market. So then I downloaded the apk file to my SD card and attempted to open it but it says I don't have enough room. I have over 26 MB available on the internal phone memory and over 14 GB on the SD card.

Did some digging around and found some similar stories with other people. Plenty of room on SD card but error message saying not enough. Saw one post from an Eris user that stated they couldn't find the game in the market either. Loving swype. I don't type any more.If you're already in the Swype beta and Froyo broke it....give it another shot. There was an update today and it is working for me again.

directv app can forget it (lol at the filter there...that was suck my ....). at my daughters field hockey game. oh, I'm going to miss MNF. No problem, just use the app to record the game. I have 4 receivers. Two show up with ID 0000. Those are the old Tivo units. No big deal. Tell it to record on the other 2. I tell it to record ESPN, not ESPNHD since I don't have HD service...I do have an HD receiver though. Get home and the HD receiver recorded the game on HD so I have 3 hours of white screen. The other receiver is in my kids room and only has one cable in so he canceled the recording so he could watch his show.

And the two receivers that have ID's in the app are backwards. When I tell it to record to the ID of the family room receiver it records in the bedroom.

I don't have Vcast or Directv, so I won't be able to watch a game on my phonedirectv app can forget it (lol at the filter there...that was suck my ....). at my daughters field hockey game. oh, I'm going to miss MNF. Going to try this. I've had the Incredible for over a month now and still can't get used to the digital keyboardeta: Went to the app store for Swype Beta and it says it can't be found. Anyone tried xScope?Loving swype. I don't type any more.If you're already in the Swype beta and Froyo broke it....give it another shot. There was an update today and it is working for me again.

Many thanks for the NFL Mobile recommendation. I thought it was only for video. Now if I'm not in my car or home, I won't miss another Bears game.

I was like this at first until I got used to it. The best part about it is not only is it much faster, but you don't even have to be even remotely accurate. It is really good at guessing what you're typing.

My Directv app works perfectly, taped the Steeler and Eagles games from it on sunday without a hitch, plus many others before thatdirectv receivers have numeric id's. on the internet, all the id's for my 4 receivers are correct. They're all hosed up on the android app. I was trying to get a game yesterday. No Sunday Ticket or NFL Mobile (had it, phone blew up, need to reload it) on my phone. Ustream had one (video). Iheartradio probably had audio. I had that at one time but it had issues. Not sure if they've fixed it. I think NFL Mobile is still free for audio...have to pay for video.I have no idea what the hell this means. I need to read up more on all of the apps. I watched the RedZone on Sunday on my NFL app. I have gotten no indication that I will be charged for it. Is it going to show up on my bill?directv receivers have numeric id's. on the internet, all the id's for my 4 receivers are correct. Just tried downloading this on my Droid 1 and it didn't work. Just clicked on the link, downloaded it, then attempted to open. Gave an error about unable to parse or something.Am I doing something wrong?

Not sure. I downloaded it and it installed just fine. I have mine set to download to my sd card and then I open it from there. I can email you the apk if that doesn't work for you. PM me your address if you have trouble still.

Not really sure what you get with the $10. Is Video on Demand allowing a person to watch any game, like Sunday Ticket? That would be a cheap alternative...but who wants to watch choppy video on a 4" screen?
Or is the $10 for redzone and NFLN? I had read that those who installed the app before a certain date were grandfathered in. I had it, lost it when my phone died and reloaded recently. Figured I was too late but NFLN still works. Well back before smart phones they had vcast. You got video clips of sports, full episodes of tv shows etc etc etc.You could not get it on blackberries. Now they converted over vcast for smart phones and it's a $10 a month charge. Something I don't pay for but you get tv shows, kids programming, sports clips etc, like I mentioned.Supposedly like you mentioned the only way to get RedZone, The NBC games, NFL network AND Video clips/highlights was to pay this $10 but in addition to the NFL stuff you got access to their full library of video (VCAST) content.
