Pretty surprised to see this guy's name on the police blotter!

Police found a loaded 22-caliber revolver hand gun, 5 grams of cannabis, 6 grams of cocaine and 28 ecstasy pills.

Maas is an idiot, no doubt, but that blog writer is psychotic. Way too much effort into hating someone so inconsequential.

Maas always struck me as a B-level imitator of Matt Millen's broadcasting work.

...and granted it's not shocking that a former NFLer got busted, but seeing as it was a seemingly even keeled broadcaster it comes as a bit of a shock.

I thought Ronnie Lott was one of the worst broadcasters. Sometimes former players aren't comfortable criticizing today's NFL players. Cris Collinsworth doesn't fall into that category - and for that I like his work.

Due to a wealth of factors -- Bill Maas' highly infrequent live telecasts, my lack of NFL Sunday Ticket, inconsistent reports from field staffers being but a few -- No Maas! is going on an indefinite hiatus. Thanks for all your submissions over the past few months -- they helped make the site what it is. Unfortunately, there just weren't enough of them to justify continuing this (free) enterprise.
