Good timing on this one. Was it the 5 for 5 with 2 HR's that made you notice? I picked him up LAST week.
He has been mashing. It sounds like the problem will be his playing time, though. Here is Rotoworlds writeup:

Incredible. Reynolds is 17-for-37 with three homers, two triples and three doubles since being hauled out of Double-A as a replacement for the injured Chad Tracy on May 16. Nearly as impressive is that he's yet to commit an error at third base, even though he was having plenty of problems on defense in the minors. Reynolds is almost sure to survive Tracy's comeback with the way he's playing now. Unfortunately, he's probably not much of an option as an occasional starter at shortstop. Still, he could play third base versus some lefties and get a couple of outfield starts per week if he keeps hitting.

No, I'm from Mobile and watch the hitters that come from here, especially when they are called up straight from AA to the majors. I picked him up when Yahoo put him in the database.
Not after, but WHEN the guy goes nuts....the purpose of the thread is to let the guys that actually read the threads here know who's got a hot streak going or who may turn into a good hitter. Safe thread? The point is to give people a head's up BEFORE the guy plays well and he's scooped up in all leagues. You did the same thing with the "Oliver Perez sleeper thread" the day after the guy allowed one run in seven earned.It's no big deal, just pointing it out.Not after, but WHEN the guy goes nuts....the purpose of the thread is to let the guys that actually read the threads here know who's got a hot streak going or who may turn into a good hitter.
