Another Ice Bowl in Green Bay on Sunday (1 Viewer)

Really nice outside? 20 MPH wind, Cold and nasty. I think it is 14 degrees. No one anywhere save a few stray cars going down the road. Not a dog walker is site all day. The dedicated runners are no where to be seen. I just put my head out the door and it is ball chilling nasty and the sun is still up. Last night it was decent at midnight. I was out with the shovel and the boots and the hat and it was nice. Humid wet good snowball making weather. This is a different beast so you must be living on a different side of town and like I stated - the 8 inches of wet snow that WAS on my driveway this morning is now a powder snow drift some 40 yards off in a matter of three hours time. It is still snowing. There are areas of Chicago that did not get a 1/4 of the snow. Travel south and south east and you are talking a foot of snow and a whole different element. I was driving down LSD at 11 pm last night and it was not snowing and it was wet pavement. I hit the Bishop Ford by 11:25 and the pavement was a train wreck and the snow was whipping down. IE depending on where you live the weather has differentials in the Chicago area. I would not want to spend 15 minutes out in this mess to shovel but to sit idle at a game at night in this arctic blast is for hardcore fans. Don't know how much wind is going to be hitting GB but if it is windy it will be brutal.

I live on the north side. We had a boatload of snow too. Shoveled for an hour. No big deal. Didn't have a scarf, mask, whatever. Just a hat and gloves.
